Mark great video and overview! I recently gave this a shot myself. I paid $197 after tax and took a gulp but I wanted to give it a shot! Not sure I’m prepared to keep this chair for that price unfortunately…. But I think it’s headed in the right direction, AND I DO LOVE LEANING BACK! Thanks for the video Mark

Hi Mark. I’m a new sub from bonnie Scotland. This chair retails for £170.00 here. The sand baskets a game changer. This nemo chair looks phenomenal

If you are remember at REI, your 20% coupon is still good for two days. Otherwise I know REI has lots of sales and coupons.

I've no idea how you fit into this and consider it comfortable. Im 6'1 and 235 pounds and everything about this chair is too small and ultimately, it's painful to sit in. Poles digging into your back and arm pits, ends poking into your legs. otherwise its fantastic but this weight saving obsession has gone too far if the usability just isn't there. My tiny daughter is delighted however as she's just been gifted this chair as it's utterly useless to me. It's way too low and narrow. Superb build and materials but if your anything above an average size buy this product at your peril.

I have quite a few different chairs. I have found no perfect chair for me. Everything‘s a give-and-take if you’re talking about lightweight for backpacking. I find that all the lightweight backpacking chairs that are under 1.5 pounds or two load of the ground. I’m just used to it, but it’s not for everybody. I haven’t had any issues with the bars in my legs and I have figured out how to deal with the bars in my back so that it works for me. My very favorite thing about this chair is it doesn’t sink in the ground because of the ground cloth. I also like its materials and construction and feel like I can count on it.

I use the Helinox Café Chair which holds 320pouns I am only 200pounds weight 3pounds but the reason I use is because I am not having to roll off sideways to get out. I actually get out of it like a regular chair. Which is why I bought it

I haven’t tried that chair yet.

@@BackpackingGearNutWeighs more but very confortable and easier to get from when your legs hurt. At 60 I am to old to be rolling off chairs. also use it for deer hunting with a bow.
