Michelle’s experience, from the few seasons she’s done, is showing. She was the first one to suggest they go down to the sand and investigate. Kyland is a leader since he was the first to go down. You could see his frustration around just waiting.

One of my favorite things about the challenge is the variety. New format, new alliances, new champion. Yet i also get to see my reoccurring characters. I know the show can get a lot of hate for different reasons but I love it. Thanks for the video Drew great as always!

Nurys definitely rubbed me the wrong way during that alliance convo, she was the only one that seemed to shut Chauncey out of that alliance IMO, then she tried to shut down Olivia wanting to work with Zara. Just came off as a little bossy lol I do think the challenge is trying to throw it back a bit with the clips of everyone getting to the airport and even just setting the first episode up as a giant sleepover (a way Aneesa has described it) 😂 I have hope for this season with these familiar but fresh faces. I just wish there was a male and female solo winner.

I believe the “sources” who advised Big T to stay away from Michelle is Michaela who was staying at Big Ts apartment in London after filming USA 2, pretty sure she filled her in on Michelle’s messy game play. Loved Big T’s toast. It really set the tone for the season.

So I can see already from this episode that Nurys and Olivia will have problems. She shut down Zara into the alliance and then Chancey as well. I wonder if there issues between him and Nurys or maybe it is the whole Amber thing, but I was surprise she shut them down so quickly.

I just hope they keep this same energy for the launch special in terms of character and fun moments for the season proper. Survivor 45 has gotten a lot of character moments out of their 90 minute episodes this season and Challenge has had that time frame for multiple seasons now.

I can see already that Nurys and her insecurities are going to be a big issue. Can't wait for the explosion. I like how it started by the "behind the scenes" feel hearing and seeing the crew. The players asking what's going on and the crew shrugging "I don't know." I wish they would need to stay living in the arena until they have won a challenge and then can enter the house. I liked the giant ball cage and wish they would use it in a season where everyone's name is in the ball cage and, on a boy's day, only boys' balls are in the cage. Then TJ draws two names from the ball cage, and they compete. The loser would go home, and the winners' ball would be removed from the cage. Continue this until every boy and every girl have been in an elimination. Then all balls go back into the ball cage, and it continues until there are only four boys and four girls left for the final. There would still be challenges in every episode first where the winner would have his/her ball removed from the ball cage and be safe for only that week as the ball(s) would be returned back to the cage for the next challenge. This would eliminate any need to form alliances or target any other player as its the luck of ball cage spin that choses the two competitors.

I really wish the producers did another Free Agent which was and is the best season of The Challenge to this day. I missed that format. Even though S39 looks promising, I wish the producers brought back the Free Agent format.

It's nice to see that it looks like production listened to feedback from fans with wanting to know the format ahead of time. Hopefully with the relatively fresh cast and younger group overall we get some more fun and drama throughout the season and not the gamebot moves like the mainstays have had for a while.

I actually think that Kaycee does well in eliminations because they are just "one shots" and not extended like finals. It actually makes sense for her to be a mercenary since mercenaries usually only do physical eliminations.

i have a feeling this seasons gonna be boring and a little hard to watch. Part of the reason i watch the show is to see my favorite vets back on their bullshit. Like for example, the first couple episodes of Ride or Dies was soo boring until the vets showed up and shook up the house.
