The best part of the tourney was when Canterburys Marshall's life preserver popped off...lol 😂😅 Seriously, you did a rod bounce that I do when fish look but don't bite. Bass on beds, smart bass, and snook are the most wary. I'm definitely not in ya'lls league, but that's something I do. Or a completely different color choice? Love what ya'll are doing 😊

Great content, love the vids, I learned more from you guys than the bassmaster live. From what I heard from Canterbury and You those fish came hard and stopped take a good look at the bait and left, on that clear water you can't finesse them and stop and just shake the bait you need to continue moving and faster as soon they came close, like trying to get away from getting eaten 👍

I've never fished with a live scope, but I have never fished a lake like Smith or Lake Tuscaloosa which are super clear and super deep in places and you will have to make your living off spots where I didn't catch at least 12 lbs worth of my best 5. I fish 2 baits: a 6" pumpkin seed with chartreuse tail finesse worm and a road runner in white with red head or chartreuse. Use the worm on the rock walls and and the RR on bridge pilings and deep structure. I would bet everything I have those fish that looked at your bait and didn't bite would've hit the RR. It's all in letting it free fall while keeping the slack out of the line while you watch that line for a pop and set the hook. They work great for summer crappie too! Take it or leave it. You asked.

This livescoping business cracks me up 😂 the fact that you can see a fish swim to your bait, swerve it, turn around and then have the fisherman complain about it is crazy town. What are we doing here? This isn't fishing. Obviously it's a necessary evil to compete in this moment so I can't blame you, Scott. That said, this crap has to go in professional fishing. BASS has made a huge mistake.

Maybe then the fish you see on your gaming screen will come up and bite your lure. I don’t think we are far from just wearing some googles that see into the water. Once that comes out I will think about buying it. Good luck up north. If you get bigger screens and stronger transducers you can stay 300 yards away and cast your lure to them. I really think you should look into the sneak rig as an alternative presentation. Mikey Balz up in Guntersville has been absolutely crushing both largies and big spots that would snub the jighead minnow / hover rig. It's just a different enough finesse technique that would probably get the bites you need when the jighead minnow / hover rig starts to fail.

Well, the ones winning are most likely staying ahead of the game. They probably got marine biologists doing research for them at these lakes. Giving them the heads up water toxicology, migration, stuff to help them where to look, etc. Don't know if it's allowed? But they probably read the state fishing reports and give them the stats.

I'll go out on a limb and get all Obiwan Kenobi on you… The problem is that you guys have become way too reliant on that sonar CRAP and you FEEL in your mind that if you don't use it and your competitors do, then you'll give them the advantage. The reality is that Pops instilled in you ALL the skills to break down fisheries of all types and YOU (likely better than most) have the ability to fish using The Force! Like Luke on the Millennium Falcon, take the electronic assistance out of the equation and let every bit of knowledge Floooooow through you! Be one with the body of water and screw how you've fished it in the past or how others fish them traditionally, and go back to the tried and true basics of all Pops has bestowed upon you. Doesn't matter what any fishery is like, hit the banks and HUNT around any and all structure BLIND, based on what your senses tell you. Look for disturbances in the water caused by structure, pay attention to the wind, and throw the most proven baits that catch fish in a puddle of water! Nice recovery at the end, but I think it was a mistake to look for schools in open water all day long every day of that tourney. You'll get 'em next time!

You have kids who grew up playing video games kicking all the veterans ass...live scop is nothing more than a variation of a video game but it's in real time... none of them whent through learning how to be a true angler... just hop on the boat go place to place and scope until you find fish... and don't Bother about trying to tell me it's alot more than that... its just not.. I've spent a great deal of time learning how to use and fish with live scope and it's a hell of alot easier than learning how to apply all baits in all conditions in all types of vegetation and in changing weather conditions so on and so on and so on and so on... well see you around...no I don't think so I'm not watching the tournaments either.
