Such a lovely young woman. Right place, right time and right Era. Being an artist myself and knowing hundreds of artists, selling art today is so much different than before social media. I love that she's finally found her spot.

It was a pleasure to meet this young lady. She has a calming effect and I want to be her when I grow up (I’m 68 and still growing). It does take bravery to search out a new life. Linda, another masterpiece!

Great interview! Linda, I like it when you give a thorough introduction. It pulls ppl in to want to continue to watch. When guests do it themselves they don’t always do a good job. Thank you, Linda!

Great interview especially with the way she shared the pain she went through to get to where she is today. She sounds like she’s her mother’s daughter and her mother was very intuitive to question her early decisions. Hopefully, her former husband finished medical school and found his way, too. Sounds like a Hallmark movie as Linda mentioned!!

This was a wonderful interview Linda! I live in the OKC area, and have enjoyed all of your videos as they feel familiar. But, I really was delighted with this little venture into something different! You were both articulate and genuine in the questions and answers. My dream was to be a full time artist too , so I really relate and admire Ricki’s “rebel” tendencies. At 28, she has come a long way. I am well into my 70’s now, but still found many takeaways in this segment. Thank you for this gem !

Ricki I didn’t get your last name! I went back and tried to get it from your spelling! I did look at Linda’s description, as Scheef! Rhyme it with beef, and people will get it! I have only one pastel by me. I made art with watercolor CRAYONS! Earlier Canadian did a profile of Bob and me on one page at Disney World. I was wearing a black top with tiny polka dots! I told the artist to give me a blue top so I wouldn’t have to look at black for the rest of my life! I love the profiles of us! And Bob and I have 2 black silhouettes, too! I am glad you make a living with art. I edited an art book by Florence Seymour (free on a blog) that she wrote while teaching art for 60 years in Jacksonville, Florida. You can teach an hour class, or master class, and help people as well as learn an aspect of art. Students teach us better than anyone! Don’t ever make it free! My fee is….,

It would've been interesting to know why she split from her childhood sweetheart. Although she's only 28, they knew each other for over 10 years. I think she mentioned her ex was in medical school. Obviously, she moved on, as now she's in a new relationship with someone she met at her previous job. I only mention this, because it seems that the catalyst for her change resulting in a completely different lifestyle was triggered by her divorce.
