How will outposts work? Like I am guessing it will work normally for the changeling to other factions but say I play him and my friends wanna recruit my units…. Then can they build an outpost in my cults? Or will it just not work like Nurgle outpost that gives no garrison? But instead there will be no outpost option? To me outpost are important for coop play.

The Blue Scribes being available to all of the Tzeench and Undivided Warriors of Chaos lords actually makes complete sense from a lore perspective. Except for Sigvald.

My only annoyance is that if all Undivided Lords just get what monogods get, it makes monogods rather... limited. Be'lakor and Daniel is one thing, but Kolek, Archaon, and Sigvald also getting them is a bit annoying. This would be a pet peeve though, not a genuine complaint.

@@damienreilly4347It is lore friendly though, chaos champions follow whoever is strong enough to lead them. Tamurkhan for instance had Khorne Berserkers, Slaaneshi outriders, and Tzeencthian wizards in his horde and he was explicitly a Nurgle champion. Chaos is just that chaos, and chaos warriors that includes Norsca, Kurgan, and Hung since they make up the chaos warriors faction in lore simply follow whoever the strongest guy is, granted chaos champions that follow an enemy gods champion would be mad but again it’s chaos they’re all insane.

My main thing at this point is performance. The game most all the content I could ask for. I just want it to actually run well. It feels like a deck of cards they just keep making higher and higher rather than stabilizing the base.

Like the wood elves, it's nice to have a sense of direction in order to complete an immortal empires campaign. Would have prefered if the chaos dwarfs were given their making the drill objective like their realm of chaos campaign

One small detail that I'm glad they added is the "Tier IV and Tier V" labels for the appropriate units. Currently it only goes up to Tier III so I'm glad that's not the case anymore. It does help a noob player like me differentiate between the strength of the many many unit types at a glance.

Idk the Ai is easily gimmicked by ambushes. Just stick 1 lord with no units and have the other army in ambush stance and it's like moths to a flame

Those blue scribes are gonna be bringing the pain with those ranged horror buffs 🤕💙 I like the new variety in your tzeentch army there too towards the end. Its definitely opened up some cool options for them and the other factions the new units are connected to.

Is no one talking about the +600% Barrier for all Horrors from the Blue Scribes [19:27] ??? Exalted ones have 1800 Barrier base. That would make a plus of 10800 Points of Barrier on top. That's 12600 Point of damage needed before you can even hurt them!!! With the other buffs from the scribes (and the ones from the theater of war) they would become the ultimate Doomestack. But I guess it's just a typo :D

yeah, when I first saw it I automatically read it as '+600 barrier' and not as +600%. I seriously doubt that the scribes will more than double the effective health of a unit...

​@@daangoes121 Since when did I say they are? I said "Classic CA" since WH3 at this point is so buggy that to play it properly you need a community bug fix mod. And the reason I added the second part is because considering the sheer amount of small mistakes like missing tags and typos it seems like there's literally zero quality control at all. It feels like a university student writing an essay and not getting someone else to read it over so they miss a bunch of typos and grammatical errors that bring down their grade. Considering this is all paid content (and more expensive than previous content to boot) there just isn't a good standard of quality.

How does hp regen bar and barrier work for the changeling? As a Tzeentch unit he has barrier, he loses when he transforms? And the hp you can regen it's tied to your max hp, does that change depending on what form you take?

It's probably less this one specific campaign, and more that the Immortal Empires campaign as a whole is stretching CA's resources due to its size and complexity and how many mechanics are interacting with each other. It might be why they're incapable of making hotfixes and have to bundle bug fixes in big patches instead.

Dude it's not even that expensive and there are entirely new game mechanics. And it's SEVEN YEARS and a major economic inflation crisis since the first TWW game came out, and the game has way more complexity to balance now...people should stop complaining. How many hours of gameplay will you get out of this DLC? I think it's completely fair that the prices have gone up. If you don't like them, wait for a sale, they will eventually drop in price anyway.

Tzeench is my favourite chaos god and the changling and the blue scribes are the perfect addition to him Cant wait to troll the heck out of everybody! And the scribes are totally nuts with access to every spell there is (randomness is not bothering me) And which all traits unlocked..holy moly their spells will be soo cheap to cast! Total chaos! Love that haha

Does the spell selection for the Blue Scribes change after you cast one I guess? It would be cool to see Kairos' magic shard system switched with a selection of spells that would change in a specific sequence as you cast them, letting you have all the spells in the same battle but making you know the order in which all the spell slots change as you cast. Or maybe just a fully customizable spell wheel. Or maybe both?

I’m worried it’s going to be very difficult to get high level buildings because a random faction will just come along and raise the settlement before you can reach them forcing you to start over. Combine that with only being able to build 3 buildings per province and getting discovered it’s going to be a pain

I can only imagine the Changeling will either be wholly unavailable in multiplayer (Unlikely!) or just a -real pain- to fight against on the campaign map. Where is he? Where is his empire? What is he planning? Who knows! It's a race for the other players to complete campaign objectives instead of wiping out the other player.

He's one of the CA paid KZbinrs man. They're basically just public advertisement and damage control all wrapped into one. Why do you think all these guys go like "WOW the changeling can... CHANGE?" and ramble on about that for five minutes then make like one offhand sentence about the price? It's to seem relatable to the customer while still advertising the game. It's more than likely he knew about any statement the company makes a solid week before us.

Is there a reason to ever mimic a lower level lord? This makes it look like when you unlock a top level one you can be them battle long for every battle. Maybe if your upkeep raised and lowered dependant on the last one you used before pressing end turn? Maybe spread the wrong corruption onto the map if you use a non Tzeench character.

Tzeench needs a generic lord and hero, proper beaks on the tzaangors, plus some variations for the tzaangors. Without these changes and similar changes to other factions, this DLC is not purchasable.

what's the counterplay to the trickster honestly? Like if he's just invisible in his territory how do you attack him and wipe him out? Hope he moves? Man poor karl.

Yeah I'm not seeing effective counter play here either. The closest you can get is having the settlement building to discover under city's but if they just keep everything low level you now got who knows what storming through your territory and oddly you won't see even the big monsters that bulldoze everything. How do you kill off the changeling? Not seeing a effective way here either, you could just burn everything to the ground but if he has maybe, a single cult to the top left and your cathey? At times I question if CA is trying to make the demons faction flat out use and have sanctioned game play cheats. Newest one, the ability to say "lol, ambush stance? Who needs that, I can march and you still won't see me now"

Would have been nice to see more in depth about changing of the ways when it comes to pricing. Those abilities can get so extremly expensive that they are impossible to use. Would like to know if CA has done anything about it. Those quest rewards, blue scribes etc are over the top insane. Personally I dislike power creep quite a lot and coupled with the price I just want the DLC even less after seeing this. I hope the patch will be good. It was well done video though and Im looking forward to see the others.

I just can't see the whole occupying the same territories as your enemies thing working as intended. I feel like at some point it brings more inconvenience than anything to your campaign. Having to protect territories you're at war with, I don't understand how that will actually work. I'm not a fan of gameplay where you're reliant on other factions' competence, especially ones you are at war with. With the way the game is you can't trust anybody to make a sensible decision.

Tzeentch was, is, and will always be garbage. The only divided chaos faction who was done well was Skarbraand. Nurgle is mid at best and Slaanesh and Tzeentch just flat out suck. The undivided versions are unironically more fun to play as than the monogod factions.

So I count 16 units, YES some are the same just ROR but I like what I see and the mechanics of each lord I've watched so far isn't bad. This DLC should have been 18$ to 20$ if they wanted to make the "inflation" justifiable even after losing the fourth lord. That extra 5$ is a pain so well see how they respond with their next DLC after the backlash. Chaos Dwarfs I can honestly say was worth 25$ because I've played each lord twice with completed campaigns (Very Hard/Hard) and still want more!!! AGAIN THIS IS JUST MY OPINION 🤘💪

Looks very nice but if players want the hundreds of bugs fixed and the AI (campaign and battle and siege) improvements CA promised then the players shouldn't give CA anymore money. I have been with this series since the beginning and forked out for every DLC but CA's disrespectful attitude towards the community is worse than its ever been. I thought WH2 was buggy but it has nothing on WH3.

Honestly, I think the Mutalith Vortex Beast is a MASSIVE let down. The animations are limp af. The Vortex is flat and 2 dimensional. The particle affects look meh. The mouth tentacles look pretty impotent too. The Ravenmen also look trash imo.

I really think it is worth 30 bucks it looks like so much fun and I'm very interested to see Yuan Boa and changeling and mother look amazing. CA knew before WH3 was released what they where going to do with the prices well over a year ago not 5 months and again 25 isn't 30 and are they raising prices again? My main question being if the next 3 dlc will be 25-30 or they going to try and be squishy about it. I think 25-30 is very fair it takes an incredible amount of work and this game is my all time favorites but it's only possible because of us and we deserve the road maps and pricing maps the long before they have been giving that information.

So I am not buying this. because of the bs. but I saw the new achievements are in game. so I was like let me play a short campaign at legendary and get one. so I pick the fun but very overpriced race. chaos dwarves. get the short victory and nothing happens. so then I do the terrible long immortal empires victory. took dozens of hours. and nothing happens. not only did they pre add achievements and they don't work. but they broke the victory from ending the game. already game breaking bugs. gj ca. I will wait a year. everything I play it isn't fun. too many bugs. I hope their wallets get destroyed.
