Most of my family is from the Channel Islands. This hits home. Thank you for covering this part of the war that seems to be forgotten by many.

I kept thinking that it must have been misspelt on his script, and he just assumed it was part of her name rather than her title?

A lot of research done but still! Terms like Britain being misused in the script. 😅 I hate caring so much about that e.g 6:34

Karl is doing double checks on future scripts like this. He was still taking a break from helping us at the time this was recorded.

One of the first resistance cells created was the Jersey Communist Party, created by a teenage activist called Norman Le Brocq and two other young activists belonging to the Communist Party of Great Britain (CPGB). Using this cell, Norman Le Brocq helped create an umbrella organisation known as the Jersey Democratic Movement (JDM), to unite both communist and non-communist resistance across the island.

I'll slow it down, I tried watching this video....video interesting....but video projected from the basement looking upward...so I tried watching....fast forwarded thru most of it....seemed interesting....but video should be straight on...try a video conference call...all should be conversing on a level platform....could expand...but crayons can't be used in this format
