The segment with the PT at meteor city exterminating some chimera ants is literally one of the best things about the chimera ants arc. For one it puts the PT on the "good guys" side for one so we can empathize more with the team as they defend their hometown. Feitan Vs Zazan showcases how fun and dangerous nen fights can be, as a wrong move while trading blows with aura could easily cost one's life. Shizuku Vs pike is probably the funniest fight I've seen in a long time.

I agree with most of your choices, except Hanzo and Cheetu. I'd swap Hanzo for either Goto or Franklin since we lack any keep away characters and I'd swap Cheetu for either Zazan or Knov, since both are more storyrelevant. As for the chimera ants in meteor city bit, I agree that it felt mostly like filler, but I reckon it was to showcase the new members and the power of the rest of spiders, since they barely had any fights.

Kalluto has a pretty standard for anime ‘paper’ manipulation based ability set. He’s more likely to be in the game as part of the Troupe than Shalanark who’s puppet master style isn’t fit for a fighting game.

@@xxtrez653 I think almost all the characters have their fans. Like I can't think of a single character who I would complain about if they were included in the game. To go a little further with my comment, Zeno translates to such a classic zoner-type character that he's almost a freebie for the designers. When I think about archetypes, Illumi would make the most sense as a puppet fighter, which have not traditionally been too present in 3v3s. Anyway, I hope both make it!

this is wishful thinking but im hoping tag fighters will adopt the Skullgirls model of selecting up to 3 characters and having their health/damage adjust depending on how many characters you have on your team rather than a mandatory 3 characters

If Meruem and Pitou aren't there it simply just doesn't make sense. Like Meruem might aswell be confirmed, but Pitou using all of the puppets could be interesting, and the Gon thing is also another reason why they might aswell be confirmed. Though if we get dlc were definitely getting adult gon, and maybe Kalluto, then imagine Welfin, then the portal guy, and probably Zushi.

It's a shame the arcs like Dark Continent Expedition and the current manga arc Succession Contest don't have anime adaptations because not only would that give Hanzo a lot more credibility, it also introduces some killer characters I would love to fight as like Netero Beyond or some of the ship's gang leaders.
