As a hornets fan, I’m hoping we roll the dice on JJ. Tremendously high IQ and the young guys could use his words of experience from his 15 years in the league.

Dude thinks Bird sucks as a player.. That's who will be deciding on talent for the Hornets.. Wasn't Jordan bad enough? He was the GOAT with years of playing experience but absolutely horrible at basketball operations..JJ will be just as bad and no on will take his lead because he doesn't know anything about coaching.

I do believe when healthy, we have one of the best young groups in the nba. Before he got hurt, Mark Williams was playing like one of the best centers in the league, and the same can be said for Lamelo. Once he hit his stride he was almost averaging a double double on like 28 points or something. Brandon miller is an All-NBA potential player, and let’s not forget about Miles Bridges, who is very gifted as well
@justmyopinion8395

Definitely young talent on the Hornets. Need a glue guy to put it all together. Maybe even an older vet like Chris Paul to help lead. If Lebron was on that team they would go from lottery team to contenders.

Hornets fan since a pre-season practice first year that I attended in 1st grade... I like your take here, my man Doug from the Locked on Hornets podcast said just today or yesterday that IF the Hornets are going to take a risk on a coach, NOW is the time, with Lamelo and Brandon Miller under contract for years. Even if it doesn't work out in 1-2 years, this would be the time to try he suggested. I'd tend to agree, if that is the direction ownership is leaning.
