We do a bonfire and fireworks on New Years Eve here too but we get friends and neighbors to donate their Christmad trees for the bonfire. Last year we had 67 trees. It was beautiful

I enjoy that there is the opportunity to do chateau hopping. I love the reciprocation of entertaining. I thought I was lucky when I owned a condo in downtown Edmonton and we'd do progressive dinner parties in the middle of winter when it was -35c and you'd go from one neighbours to another without having to put on a coat or a pair of boots. does makeup, chefs, restoration, and seemingly knows something about hard wood and period antiquities, just as the chateau visited---btw, very nice restoration of walls, moulding, and furnishings/appointments---he seems to be a renaissance revival man. ha! one question has to do w/ the majority style for french chateaux . about what % would fall under victorian or other periods? to me, these seem to be french renaissance. really love the roof line and the smaller roofs and turrets. steph is absolutely francais beautiful, after her makeup. really impressive. grammarly is changing some of my french w/out permission. frack o no y (a french painter that i didn't take the time to search---i have one of his colored engravings of two girls seated hung in my great room. anyway, it is meant as a compliment. in conclusion, michael has some pretty good dance moves and a pretty decent christmas package. so congratulations to him. one of my screennames is wo1longshlongghunglotu, perhaps we have something in common, huh? i love the feasty lights table. shows up so well on camera, and it creates a very nice ambiance. so many things at both homes are really sharping up in later views. it is exciting to see the progress. i would love to spend some time putting work into the gardner's cottage. it should be wonderful, upon completion. the good fire: reminds me:...late in the summer, when the cotton would die, the fields were on fire, w/ green bottle flies, and their's so much forgotten, w/ you in my eyes, why did you leave me last summer...? an old romantic here.

I was the administrator of my parents nursing home for the elderly in England and I bought a small flat in London. Then I got very lucky because it increased in price a lot, and by selling it I was able to buy half of the chateau (with my best friend). I then inherited enough money from my father to do the electricity/plumbing/septic tank (which sounds very lucky, but I’d ten million times rather have my father still with me), so was able to start slowly decorating. Then I ran the chateau as a b&b (but that was financially always quite tight), and now I’m lucky to be a full time vlogger, which pays for the upkeep of the chateau, and is even starting to pay for some new renovations!
