I just re-watched this today, 27th of December, 2023! What a beautiful and inspirational vlog this was, and I have to say it still is very much grounded into today's reality! Both beautiful and in the same time painful memories!!!❤❤❤❤

Rewatching these during my second bout with Covid (despite being fully vaxxed AND boosted!), while quarentined in my bedroom. This is how I found your channel, during the original lockdowns, and am now a weekly viewer! I expect to make a full recovery, but after 2 years being enchanted by your life, and friends, I am doing so while sipping orange juice from a wine goblet, and eating my soup from my finest porcelain! My teenage son thinks I'm bonkers, but it really does lift the spirits! Thank you for inspiring me to elevate my everyday experience!

My only real friend died of Covid six days after you posted this. Covid will never end for me because someone coughed on him and he died. I appreciate your positivity and you make some wonderful, uplifting points , but getting "back to normal" is never going to happen for some of us. Your vlogs are so helpful. LaLande is a great comfort. Thank you

Hi Stephenie, I love your bogs, I suddenly came across them after watching DO IT OURSELVES, I think it is great what you have done to the chateaux, these buildings are beautiful and should not be left to go to ruin. I to shall be glad when this lockdown is over, and I can see my grandchildren again. Like you I am using the time to be creative, last year I started to teach myself the piano, which I have always wanted to do, even though I was 73 years old, I had got to a stage where I knew enough, that I could cope with having lessons, so what happened the lockdown came, but fortunately my piano teacher does them over FaceTime, which is great. With the lockdown, I can spend more time practising, so hopefully I will get better much quicker. You take care and stay safe and keep up the good work. Sandra x

I watched this soon after you posted it and I'm watching it again as part of watching my way through all of your episodes. Honestly I think I'm more emotional this time watching it than last time. I'm so impressed with how France has been handling the pandemic. It's hard for everyone, but clear information, instructions, and plans make everything so much more straightforward. Also - I'm so glad you folks are all healthy and that you've had such successes with the vlog and your Patreon.

I'm just seeing all these wonderful videos now while still in quarantine. It has been 3 months for me and I have been doing all those things: trying new recipes, decorating and organizing and planning things around the house, reading and relaxing (finally) and watching your absolutely wonderful series. I am so grateful for this gift of time and thankful everyone I know is safe thus far. Will never take for granted our freedoms once we have them again. xo Mar

I certainly enjoyed this video since I am at my home in Virginia observing staying at home during these uncertain times. I really enjoyed, towards the end, of this video how you will never take certain things for granted anymore. I feel the same way. Maybe this is one of the “good things” that will come out of all of this. I wish you all the luck and I look forward to LaLande getting back to normal. You take care.

Just like many others Stephani I am so glad you are safe at home. I am moved to write and tell you what a wonderful, inspiring and motivating young lady you are. You are a joy to listen to. You know what I love best about you? Its how you love your family and are not ashamed to show it to the world. I adore how you call your mother "mummy"". I have a 39 year old son and a 34 year old daughter and I know what it means to me when they call me ""mummy"" at their age. God bless you, you wonderful girl. Thank you so much for the uplifting ideas you share as to what you will be doing during this time. Lots of love to you.

Stephanie, this was a very emotional video to watch.I was in tears as you said goodbye to Gerry. I know it would have been wonderful if he had been able to go home with you. I was very happy to see 'Mummy' dancing in the courtyard and what a blessing to have Nic and his family get to Lalande. Soon you will be all free to enjoy being together. I look forward to watching how life evolves and live vicariously through your vlogs. I am in Vancouver, Canada and life as we knew it has changed. At this point we are in the social distancing stage and still able to go for groceries, walks etc. I have chosen self isolation due to being a senior. I imagine the government will impose isolation on the community as the virus continue to grow in order to flatten the curve. Thank goodness for wifi! Take care, keep the joy. Virtual hugs to you and your loved ones.
