When I first started watching several different "Chateau" programs, they involved digging up this and tearing that down; however, Chateau Diaries showed people dancing in the kitchen. At first. I just didn't understand and was confused at the madness I was witnessing. NOW, that I have caught up and watched ALL Chateau Diaries, I now understand the dancing and the glorious FUN to be had at LaLande. Moments like this are what LEGENDS are made of!!!

Please tell him, yes, he is young and strong now, but he should pace himself and accept the help so that he can keep going longer into his life. I have said it before, and I'll say it again--Amaury is like a superhero. Your wonderful painting party is SO MUCH like the parties I used to throw! The last one I threw was a "Come as your alter ego" party, for which I was Joan of Arc. But someone told me I was already Joan of Arc, and wanted to know who else I was. lol. By the end of the night, there were over 100 people there. Yet, I served no food or alcohol (I'm not rich). People came for the atmosphere. I was always throwing creative parties. Also, at the time, my roommate & I had a big empty wooden picture frame (similar to the one in this video) in the living room that we used for all sorts of creative antics. So, this video took me right back to that fun period of time in my life. Delightful!

I've pulled my ancient edition of the works of Tennyson off the shelf, blew off the dust, and read Mariana, reminding me of what a great poet he was. Thanks, Stephanie! I only wish she'd been here to read it aloud in that lovely gown. The painting masquerade was glorious, and Maria chose the winners well. One would have expected Philip to appear as some dashing figure painted by Frans Hals, or Gainsborough, but I love that his dark humor prevailed and brought Restored Jesus to life. A vlog to remember!

I literally burst into hysterical laughter seeing Philip in his ingenius costume pose 😂😂😂 Worthy winner indeed, and his choice so entirely unexpected! I love surrealist parties (they're always so much FUN) so this was right up my alley! ALL the costumes were truly splendid, and Maria is such a great dame, full of artistic creativity, laughs and such talent! I loved her Picasso makeup and Garibaldi creations, and the Hieronymous Brioche 🤣 😂 Steaming and ripping down wallpaper on my own (much more work than I expected) I can't begin to imagine the energy Amoury has to du such heavy project non stop... I was thinking also about Dan, as I feel ever so slightly woozy standing top my 3 meter ladder, I have to pause every so often or I think I might tumble. A new travel channel sounds amazing, will definately subscribe to that! So mucg fun to see Patrick and Stewart over, you can't not love those guys, they've done an amazing journey in such a record short time, from their hip California lifestyle to Olde France!
