Just found Genesis scrolling through Triple J's uploads. First checked his own "A Song Fishing" and found it really good but didn't listen to the end before I saw that they did a cover of this. Had to hear what they did with it, expecting a stripped down kind of bare version. Then Genesis started "fa-fa'ing" and the rest is history. This was absolutely incredible! The sheer brilliance of channeling the kind of latent punk spirit of this song like this with the live energy and sound was so on point. Thank you to the band for doing this cover, it set off my day in the best way possible! Gonna check out the rest of this band's stuff.
@ianrahbek22893 жыл бұрын
I totally agree with you, this is genius. But this is actually two different bands playing together. The Australian punk band The Chats, combined with the newer singer/rapper Genesis Owusu
