@nkosinathisethabile5913 yup, so the water pump was replaced 3 years ago, sump gasket, pre cat O2 sensor that screws into turbo, cam shaft magnets. Other than those items, it's been solid. Engine internals solid.

The Golf 6 GTi sounds like a polo 1.4 tsi, I say don't change as of yet, I say tune the engine first to stage 1 or whatever stage as you've said your making it a modified car, then if it still sounds like it does now then haikhona, change it
