@@Hulkooo KYT is an Indonesian brand making helmets in Indonesia. However, KYT's parent company, Tarakusuma bought Suomy and used Suomy's RnD facility in Italy to design KYT helmets. Earlier KYT FIM approved helmets are rebadged Suomy, nowadays they are still similar but a bit different.

Well, it's the largest Indonesian helmet brand. I believe they purchased Suomy so they have an r&d centre in Italy and manufactured it in Indonesia. That's why they can make it super cheap. They just launched that particular helmet in Indonesia last sunday

KYT is such an underrated brand. They've been around for quite a long time now and i remember their helmets in early 2000's is quite dope already. Surely they've improved a lot more over the years. I was considering a KYT NX-Race for my first helmet, but went for an LS2 Arrow R Evo instead because it was like 700k IDR cheaper, which is crazy considering the KYT is made locally here in Indo. $165 for the LS2, and $210 for the KYT. No regrets, but I see how the KYT being more expensive was justified, it's very well-built. Even their cheapest $25 helmets sold here are nice.

And I think KYT seems like a real solid helmet as well. The guy who mentioned how straight to the point you are and how great of a dude and content creator is correct. Really enjoy the content you bring out. Always looking forward to the next one whenever it comes online. I have KYT before and KYT still. I have many road mishaps caused by some other road users who are Potato bastards and have no safety in mind. I must say they are one of the best ones in market and the prices they offer are one hard thing to beat to begin with. the funny thing about my KYT is when I got involved in a brawl I use it as my weapon 3 dude with a broken nose and some broken tooth hahaha

Yoooo, KYT originated from your SEA neighboor it's Indonesia. KYT bought Suomy, so their more "premium" lineup branded as Suomy and the one that entered MotoGP is Suomy. But it's just the logo basically, KYT KX-1 and Suomy S1-XR (the one MotoGP riders used) are literally the same. Oh and also one Indonesian brand that entered MotoGP are NHK, it debuted with NHK GPR Tech Race paired with Karel Abraham as their test rider.

I was in Vegas a couple years ago at the Stratt. I only remember there were prostitutes trying to pick up people at the gym. While I was exercising, lol. But in indonesia they mark up the price somehow. So if you tell other because it price so affordable meaning it cheap enough, which sounds pretty good. Not necessarily in indonesia cause if the retail or we could say 'official store', they sell only around 9 million rupiah with carbon shell, other store can sell it start from 10-11 and still can get higher price than i said. Then if you ask why don't we buy it from official store, somehow they mark up they're price either and ridiculously if we buy from their website somehow the picture said is sold out wether we know if it's truly soldout or they're shipping to retailer and they playing along with the price. That's why i have to say i jealously to other people who can get easier and not pricey as i live in indonesia.
