@@lIlIllIlIllIlllIllIIIIIIIIIlII I grew up in the Sea-Tac area. Moved in 2019 to Utah. Riding is GREAT for 7 months out of the year. And if you bundle up, you can squeeze a couple more months out of it. That's better than the Seattle area where 85% of the year, it's raining. LOL

What I notice for myself is the power of a 1000 is what catches you off guard. But a car hitting you, poor road conditions and line choices all apply to all bikes. A 1000cc is just brute fast and you should know what you’re getting before you get it

having owned a 2020 zixxer, i can definitely say that the factory QS was temperamental at best. The 636 motor is fabulous though. I was really hoping kawasaki would finally spec a ride by wire throttle for the 2024s considering the zx4rr and zx25rr both have it

Didn’t dig through all the comments so I do t know if anyone else mentioned it but the wheels are hard anodized that’s why they are so tough finish wise. Ive powder coated a couple sets of those and always hated blasting them. One, because they are tough but I also loved the factory finish they came with.

I don't know if you were saying you wanted an R6 as a first bike, I personally think it's a bad idea but gotta enjoy life so you do you, HOWEVER I will give you a tip. If you don't mind the looks check out the old Yamaha FZ6 AKA the Fazer it's essentially what the Tuono is to the RSV4. It's a semi-faired half-naked version of the R6 with a slightly detuned engine making 98 horsepower but slightly more torque at 46.5 much earlier on and with a wider power band. Things still a beast. There's also the FZ6R which was a Ninja 650 competitor it uses an even more detuned version of the same engine making a respectable 78hp and 44lbs of torque with a MUCH lower 12K RPM redline so you still get that i4 sound just not as much of a scream. FZ6 and FZ6R can be had all day for WELL under $5K.

I ride a 650 Bandit, had it for about 2 years now. People say all kinds of things about it, that it's nothing special, it's this, it's that, it's "boring" for a "big bike". So? I love the look of the Bandits, it has plenty enough power to get me in serious trouble and even though I want more torque (doesn't everyone?), I'm happy with my purchase... Well, when the bloody thing is actually running correctly lol. Edit: Regarding the power, I probably will throw a PCV on it at some point cuz the last dyno it had it was super lean and missing like a good 10hp from stock so I've basically got a free "project bike" for whatever that's worth lul
