MARSHALL, JUST KEEP ADDING ADDITION TO THE GROUP FORMAT. Willie Ford the late member of the Dramatics kept his group five-member image. Reynold, for a while and now his just out there.

They became The Chi-Lite Choir with those 9 singers and several bad lead mics. Great new leads, but the sound crew needed to be fired!

Yes, I agree.....and I love the large number of voices, but when you think about it, all of the Chi-Lites songs have a choir like sound to them, with outstanding leads. But this would have so much better if the sound crew could have been better. And yes....I agree, the sound crew should be Fired!!

@@georgeandy6923, what is missing from this multi-singer new Chi-Lites is a bass singer. They had a lot of songs with interesting bass leads when Creadel "Red" Jones was in the group many years ago. I'd actually questioned Mr. Thompson in 2008 via a telephone conversation about his lack of a bass singer, but I won't say what his response was. The present group has three members doing falsettos leads for Eugene Record songs, so what voice were the 3 and then a 4th woman singing? I don't want The Chi-Lites to become a classy looking Parliament type group with a stage full of singers. Good morning, sir.

​@@MakerNoMoneyI see your point, and with all of the technical difficulties with the sound, I can't say that I really noticed. But it should be easy enough for them to add an Outstanding bass singer, as I'm certain that there are some Awesome ones out there who would be happy to join such a legendary group!! But I'm just so elated to see Marshall Thompson out there and keeping the Chi-Lites going strong!!
