Nicely comprehensive, and not at all too technical, IMHO (:

The typeface on this Chicago typwriter is the same typeface used on the banner of The Chicago Tribune newspaper.

The removable typing element is a great feature, but I am guessing finding ones with different typefaces is quite hard. Great vieo!

This video was really useful and informative. I have a little question, Can you make a detailed video and show more pieces? I'm looking to 3D model this Typewriter and I can not find any good and detailed photos around the internet :cc

What pieces are you referring to? Like individual inner parts? Or just details on the machine's exterior? If the former then I don't think I can help you. I would not like to take the machine apart again to show individual parts as it takes a lot of time that I need to spend on other things. If the latter then your best bet is typewriterdatabase.com (typewriterdatabase.com/Chicago.Closed+Frame+Model.349.bmys). There should be plenty of images from a range of angles of this model there.

@@Retro-Type Hello, thank you very much for answering. It would only be without the top panel since with the video you made, I was able to make many small pieces and with other photos the basic shape, I was able to find photos without the top panel, but they are always taken from the right side and I hardly have as much information on the left side. I hope it doesn't take up too much of your time to take photos of that side of the typewriter, otherwise I really appreciate the quick response and the gallery of images you sent me c:

@@BlackWoolfStudios I have a text based blog where I wrote about the restoration process of this machine. The text is Norwegian, but there are several pics of the machine both with the top lid off and several inner parts. Perhaps it could cover what you need? www.retrotast.no/post/restaurering-the-chicago
