My lovely daughter died three weeks ago. We buried her. This was one of the songs we did together with her teenage daughter whom I am now raising. We did it because she sounded like Natile She even got a gold ticket on America;'sgot Talent for this. It never was more than an easy song to do until she died. Thanks from an old man.

These ladies are the epitome of what a woman really is and feels, in all her emotional beauty and extreme talent with incredible voices. The Music Industry is the loser and so are the people, their legend lives on and continues to grow even more...we want them back. No other female singers or band has what they have together...they got it right. And many people agreed with what they said, Music industry screwed up letting them get away. The people's voice is what makes this country Free.

This song came out the time my wife passed away, I would listen to it every time it played. I made it my ring tone, kept it forever. Brought back good time we had. And sad times , she was gone. Cried many times hearing it. But I could relive the good time, now gone. Still listen to it.

Strange comments. The three are spectacular together. They wouldn't amount to much if apart. But together they are timeless. Rarely will you hear a vocal blend like this. You cannot top the song selections, great musicianship & great production. They are as good as it gets. Natalie is a powerful, dynamic lead singer. Martie has the pure sound perfect for high vocals, not to mention solid fiddle. Emily on banjo/dobro plus her recent solo album proves she's the brains behind the band. Believe.

@twotoomanytwos571011 жыл бұрын
It is ironic isn't it Derek. I believe the remarks that got so many in America whipped up, actually occurred in Britain, where Natalie Maines made some simple, personal observations about then president George Bush and his presidency et cetera.. Because the remarks were made to a non American audience, not on American soil, while the US was at war in the gulf, and after 9-11, people just got overly sensitive to what amounts to, no big deal. I feel a much greater sense of loss that the Dixie Chicks were flattened, than I do that GWB is gone or that Iraq is not a democracy.

I've sure enjoyed the rain, but I'm looking forward to the sun You have to feel the pain when you lose the love you gave someone I thought by now that time would take away these lonely tears I hope you're fine all alone, where do I go from here 'Cause Without you I'm not okay And without you I've lost my way My heart's stuck in second place, ooh Without you Well, I never thought I'd be lying here without you by my side It seems unreal to me that the life you promised was a lie You made it look so easy making love into memories I guess you got what you wanted, but what about me, 'cause Without you I'm not okay And without you I've lost my way My heart's stuck in second place, ooh Without you Somebody tell my head, to try to tell my heart That I'm better off without you 'Cause baby I can't live Without you I'm not okay And without you I've lost my way My heart's stuck in second place, ooh Without you, without you Source: LyricFind Songwriters: Natalie Maines / Eric Silver

Babykins Feeney i went through it with my husband 8 years ago. i prayed hard for 8 months straight that God would restore my marriage and i never gave up faith in that. we were almost divorced and he had another girl friend. my prayers worked and no joke, today march 9th is our ten year wedding anniversary and we have 4 kids and are very happy. our relationship isnt perfect but it is lasting and we work at it everyday as to not end up where we were all those years ago. if u have a kid together and you want to fight for your marriage then fight with prayer. and your husband probably isnt as happy as he seems to be with his girlfriend. my husband told me when we split up and he had another girlfriend all he wanted was to come home. i will pray for the restoration of your marriage as well. my heart goes out to you and you may feel alone in this but your not. lots of women have been hurt and walked out on and cheated on, i am one of them.
