The Stawamus Chief is one of Trooper's favorite hiking destination. The chief showcase various challenges that makes your hiking adventure a very memorable one. The Chief or the Stawamus chief can be done in a day or can be done for just a peak in a day if you are in rush. The view on each peak showcases different characteristics and on different perspectives but also showcases different levels of challenges. The chief is a very busy hiking destination so you have to plan your day really well if you plan to hike it. The Chief is a highly recommended hiking destination for any hiking and outdoor enthusiast.

Thank-you for watching my friend. Yes. you have to go back to the junction or split between the 1st Peak and the 2nd Peak....then you can complete the loop from the split to the 2nd peak and Third Peak and way back down on the other side.😀

How long will it take to reach 2nd peak?

It all depends how long you stay at the first peak...but if you hike coming from the bottom going to the first and with minimal time stop from the first, then going to the second peak would probably take you 2.5 to 3 hours.

Is this something a beginner that is afraid of heights can do?

I'm not too sure how scared of heights you are but I've seen 8-12 year olds hike this trail before....Maybe try the first Peak first and if you feel good about it...try and attempt the second peak....There are chains on the trail and metal ladders to assist you going up so I think you are fine.👍😀

If you have good hiking shoes with good grip...you should be fine....😀 You will love the hike...one of my favorite hikes in Squamish. 👍
