Hi 👋 and welcome. I'm sure they did, for the average home owner, these will be great. But I made the mistake in thinking it could be used for a business too. I should have upgraded slightly to accommodate future jobs etc. Thank you for your comment 😊

@@everydaywithmenick It is suggested that you replace the manual cart with a small electric cart. I bought it for $300 in China, and it can transport 200㎏ of things at a time, without human push.

with hindsight (wonderful thing!) would you have preferred a used Kubota?
@everydaywithmenick Жыл бұрын
Hi and sorry for the delayed reply, yes I think I would have prefered a used machine now, reason is because of the 3 cylinder engines that would be in them and also the build quality would be much better overall. Never mind, the experience has taught me much much more. Thank you for commenting 👍

Nice job Nick and the crew, you should really consider getting that tracked micro dump bed machine, would fit nicely with that mini digger.

Hey Ants Pants, I'm already ahead of you on that one however the cost of one is quite a bit for them tracked mini dumpers. I'd like the high lift one for skip uses etc so I think that's why they're more expensive. But yes I have been looking 🤣 thank you also and I'll pass the kind words onto the lads 👍

Hi Nick. What size bucket have you on the machine doing that job? I'm thinking of getting a 1000mm tilt bucket on a quick hitch. Do you think that might be too much fkr a 1 ton machine? Cheers.
@everydaywithmenick Жыл бұрын
Hey Simon and thanks for commenting. I have a 800mm grading bucket on a quick hitch and I like the quick hitch but... I lose height when dumping in say a dumper or trailer etc. The 800mm bucket is great and a tilting bucket would be even better. I've toyed with one myself but never have got one, I'd only get the 800mm though, not sure why though. I think the machine will handle it, just don't go assuming it can lift some heavy heavy dirt that you'd pick with say a 3t machine. Hope this helps, good luck 👍
@SimonCoates Жыл бұрын
@@everydaywithmenick Hi Nick, thanks for the advice. I've ordered the 1000mm tilt bucket, I thought the bigger bucket might be better for the job I need it for - spreading and grading top soil around a lot of trees. I spoke to the dealer who said the 1000mm would be OK for the capacity of the machine. I'm still 50/50 on getting a 800mm though. I can hear you're a Yorkshire lad too. Bit of a North East twang, and looking at your surroundings I'm guessing NYM area?
@everydaywithmenick Жыл бұрын
@Simon Coates for top soil it will deffo be fine for that job. 800mm bucket for me it just about right, I can load it up with plenty of clay or dirt and it picks up fine. Be interesting to tot up the hours on that little digger compared to what it would have cost to hire...i know you could probably double the hours on the machine as it does not run 100% of time on site but if you hired one you would be charged 100%
@everydaywithmenick2 жыл бұрын
Hi Mac. My charge on this is only 60 more than a hire for the day with a machine like this so pretty cost effective. Besides you pay more for an experienced operator over just hire on a machine that may take you all day as opposed to a few hours work. Thanks for commenting 👍

Hey Jonathan, thanks for your comment. My simple answer to that is.... YES. I wish I had got the 1.5ton with the 3 cylinder engine instead with operator controls. Smoother engine and more comfortable operation. But this mini digger really is and still impresses me every time I get on a job with it. Cheers for your comment buddy 👍

Hi Dave and thank you for commenting. You are very right, I have been wanting either a tracked or 4 wheel drive dumper for a while but the issue is I'd have no way to get it to the job site with the plant trailer I've got. Maybe one day. I was looking at the loaders that have the front scoop loader on too. They look ideal for moving loose tipped materials. There's some in the UK that are a fraction cheaper than China and that's new too so I may look at one in the UK now. Thanks again for commenting and welcome to the channel 😀
