Some important notes for buyers. To buy direct you need to go to their ebay listing (linked in description), their website requires a call to purchase. Laserspeed seems to be actively improving their production lasers in real time. The M3 is unmodified compared to the version in the video (confirmed 7.7.23) The FL5 has received some iteration -Some have claimed they've tightened up the turrets on the older design, this is a QC variation. -There is a 2.1 version that has capped turrets. I've yet to see a listing for these. -There is a "2.2" version that has a tool only turret design. These are listed on their ebay page. These are the current production. -As far as my contact has indicated to me. No modifications have been made to the selector dials to prevent the blow I received, but the turrets have received a better design to prevent wobble.(7.7.23) Much like with the Somogears, you should understand that QC is not the strong suite of these types of companies. Many have already reported wildly inconsistent product output. Buy, and then RMA as needed until you get a satisfactory one.

The things that needed to be improved: 1. Lense Cap: Surpirngly right? For the AR platform in the West, that's why the ngal is so small for this reason. The same goes for the newly issued QBZ-191, the handguard is curved with an angle and if your lasers module is too big, it's going to affect how you grip your rifle in the case of emergency. In the very deep thought of an operator's mind, it's always some small details that prevent it from going smoothly. If you think about it as something like a lense cap swinging around your laser device, you would be hesitant about it mindless of the physics appearance. 2. illuminator: More output and the pattern control needed to be stronger. 3. Visible laser: VECSEL is needed, and output needed to be increased, I've heard people say you don't need a fp laser, but that's not valid if you needed to use it at dim light or early sunrise setting which actually has lots of mil. operations do have a schedule like that. They are not really all at night. And if you go from a sunshine environment into a darker underground structure or urban building during broad daylight. You needed to have a stronger laser pointed either within the structure or from the outside. Though Holosun does it right, it was around 25-40mw by observation. Anything close to 80mw like the ngal is not really needed for the sake of exposing your position. But that high output shows possibly friendly troops who using a similar laser device if people can tell or not. 4. Coating: for the users who used these lasers module, the chance that they go to a different environment is huge, so if the coating not doing the job, it would deflect the lifespan of the laser. Waterproofness, go rust, etc. 5. Locking Mechanism: Lasers module often needed to be taken on/off from the weapons for testing/re-zeroing after some rifle accessories placement consideration. The speed of how fast you can repeat the cycle determine the comfortability and general echo of the training or field test. And the perst are doing pretty good. 6. Aftermarket crane plug capabilities: As it is a unit for oversea sale, expected are lots of Western-made weapons lights pair with it. 7. More intuitive features: Just like the perst-series, the max output mode. The other basics are not listed here, such as does it can withstand high recoil or prolonged use reliability. One thing special about these laser modules is actually the battery, please be careful because it's rather a small circuit within these small devices, if people store enough time with a battery on it, it could damage it really quickly. If they can improve the circuit protection and the battery compartment, it would be a huge plus. Given it's not a clone of some Western products. This is good enough as it's just an early version. In my estimation, they will have a version.3 out around the end of the year. Will really look into these products next year to see if anything major upgrades are applied. If it meets all of the listed requirements, I wouldn't hesitate to drop $2k for that in the future.

I'm back. Another 1,000 rounds last night. Still holding zero. Kept up with a DBAL D2 on the range IR illum wise. I must have the updated version as its good to go. Tons of great drills but only pushed it to 200 yards. Battery died 2 hours in which was short of the D2 by about 30 minutes. My buddy was using the D2. I hate the pressure pad setup though, truly. American manufacturing continues to disappoint lol. They can indeed be competitive but they refuse. I work in manufacturing and we can indeed make products to compete against Chinese production to some degree. Not as cheap but a price difference that isnt too crazy. The main issue is we produce very high end products mainly for manufacturing...the irony i know lol. However where we are getting destroyed is by the common consumer. China has gotten extremely rich and have stepped up their manufacturing quality to extreme standards over the past decade. Making their products actually somewhat decent now. Everything is made in sub group factories. Tooling factories, household factories and so on. DeWalt and Milwaukee are made in the same plants that Hercules and baure are made in now. The Chinese have made entire production lines modular. The only real differences between Milwaukee and Hercules is some of the internals and obviously the casings. You just pick parts you want and get billed for the product and obviously the more you pick... The bigger the discount gets. Why buy overpriced American made junk when its competition is selling nearly the same product in some form for 1/4 the price. Thats globalism and greed in a nutshell. Can we sell as cheap as the Chinese no obviously. We use 3rd world countries and exploit their lack of worker rights to produce products we then import and sell at a premium. The endless greed and corruption this nation is about it insanity. This isn't about politics its about our trash in office screwing evey American out of their own opportunities. 2000$ for a lazer and a flashlight...stop and think about that for a sec...
