Most of the lyrics is consist of idioms that's why most of the translations wont make much sense without context. I'd dare to go ahead and claim that it is slowly replacing Japan in its former niches like anime, games, webtoons, tv shows and yaoi/yuri content. Japanese market is very stale right now with mainstream media not giving many original projects a chance and doubling down on gooner slop whereas in China p*rn, nudity or even cleavage of any kind are illegal and ironically, this has been refreshing to a lot of people. Same thing with memes - Chinese people are actually less isolated than Japan and willing to interact with foreigners on social media more, meaning their memes seep into the Western culture the way Japanese don't.
