The balloon was flying at an altitude that fighter jets are not suppose to be capable of flying……so for an a F-22 to fly at 58K feet and shoot the balloon flying at 60-65K feet…. It’s quite remarkable Most fighter jets operate at lower altitudes and even if they are theoretically capable of reaching altitudes that the balloon was flying in, there are questions with regard to their operational capabilities at those height

I think the media trolled you. I think it's just a weather balloon, and the media started a panic, because they knew Americans would believe the narrative automatically due to all the negative reporting on China lately. That's how people's minds work. If you report something only 1 way for a long time, they'll automatically believe any report about that subject that's reported the same way. It's the same technique they used to get millions of Americans to believe for years that Trump was a Russian asset. All the negative reporting on Trump, made them believe anything the media told them, as long as it was negative on Trump. It's related to 'confirmation bias'. Truth is, the US releases almost 70,000 weather balloons every year, and some of these balloons are disabled and brought down after a certain amount of time, and others are left to drift, gathering weather data for days and weeks, until they eventually fail and come down on their own. I'm sure China releases just as many weather balloons. I never heard any evidence from the media that justified or validated claiming it was a spy balloon, so in my mind it isn't until it's proven that it is.
