Yep, is one of those games that I play every week no matter the years that has past since it's launch, and I will keep playing even if we don't get more updates I just love it, I will keep playing it until there's no players around, I hope that doesn't happen anytime soon so let's try to keep this game alive all the time we can! I miss the good old times in the early 2000´s when there were a ton of custom maps for every game. Chivalry would be perfect for that. They just need to release a map editor.

There’s one thing I like about this whole thing. Torn Banner took care of a majority of the bugs in chivalry from the previous patches, which means it’s still playable just no new content will be in the game.

When I saw Regicide come out, I knew that was the end of the story. However, this doesn't change that the servers are up. Lets enjoy the fight for glory while we have it.

Unpopular opinion: I LOVED playing a Crossbow in Mordhau, to go onto really sneaky places and try to shoot the bosses and fighting against other crossbow assasins. In Chivlary tho being archer / crossbow is totally not the same due to the limitations of where you can go on the map. I agree it's kinda lame on Chivs BUT it still has potential. *Main Longsword + highland giant maximus*

I had the same sort of interest before this as you, playing a lot of battlefront and battlefield, got kinda sick of dying to people I couldn't even see. I don't really have any backup game for when chiv goes, at least not a large multiplayer one. If we got the same interests, I'll probably still like whatever you choose to play next

Game is not 'dead' quite the contrary it had the best ending. It actually has some dignity. Chivalry 2 is a game that is fun and engaging and actually works. Contrast -- Helldivers 2.

@@Swagmar I mean yea I generally agree, but I’ve kinda been over TB for a while now. to me Chivalry was always made fun by the community. that’s what really set it apart from Mordhau. And to me that’s the main reason the game has grown so much in popularity. So long as the community keeps playing I think the game will survive for a while. I do think it will become mostly private server based after a while as people try to replace those limited time game modes. But idk, I have hope. The game is good and it’s fun af. As you know lol

This makes me very sad cuz I play chiv since it released, I have 700 hours and it is by far my favorite game. The fact that they focus more on fun rather than money is what made it so amazing. Anytime I bring up chivalry to my friends it’s only funny moments that we remember. This game is truly goated.

after the hotfix i kept getting hit through my block, counters had to be inputted even earlier than before, and overall things just felt more and more unstable. i would have kept playing without the hotfix but now it's harder to enjoy the game.

my guess they might going to make chivalry 3 which i think the lore is like from regicide being the final update and final campaign of the Civil War between the Mason and Agatha fighting each others when Argon the second defeated Malric and restored the kingdom, and doing the second crusade as like his father ones did with first crusade failed. My guess will be now Agathian Tenosian Wars in Chivalry 3

The game still has loads of bugs like reviving enemies or not being able to revive teamates or the archers bow just moving away from the screen, and classic tornbanner decides to not fix them and move from the entire game, and they add a faction with the most horrid maps, except for askindir ,

If I'm perfectly honest, I feel like 90% of the EOL announcement comes from a well-placed confidence that the multiplayer mode of Bannerlord will never be good. I feel like I should remind people that Chiv2 is competing against a game with intentionally horrendous PVP balance, while also allowing players to roll with all-archer teams. Yet people seem to feel the need to act surprised when Torn Banner has zero incentive to improve upon a game that's already the best at what it does for two years on Steam and the entirety of its Epic Games Store exclusivity period. If anything, TaleWorlds should've noticed that people would rather install a game client that they loathe just to distance themselves from the slop they're peddling on Steam

I'm not sad, torn banner needs to get their shit together. They constantly disappoint us with each update in terms of bugs, issues, lackluster promises, non-existent community contact, the game has been a mess for a while. Hopefully they finally get their act together when chivalry 3 comes out, if not then so be it. It's sad to see it go, but I honestly want Torn Banner to suffer a little bit at this point.

If they want the game to be fun, they shouldn't censor and ban all the fun people. The fact that cheaters can play and I can't says everything I need to know about TB. I have refused to play the game since I got banned (for who even knows what). I might give Chiv 3 a try, but only if ppl are saying it's good. And if TB goes on another ban spree, I might check out of the franchise entirely.
