Y'know, doing "everything right" is hard, so it's okay if you don't listen to audiobooks in car, don't go to gym every day, eat some snacks sometimes, or have a bad day at work. Go at your own pace, but still give your best to imptove your life The important thing is to keep going at it despite hardships and slip-ups

I'm pretty sure he calls them back later, otherwise they wouldn't hang out. Or maybe it became a routine: They know that he doesn't answer his phone because he still shows up later and talks to them, so they call knowing he won't pick up, as sort of a signal for "we're hanging out tonight at the usual spot and time, come join us." Edit: it does feel a bit missing that the video doesn't show it, though.

Sometimes, not taking action isn't a choice at all. It's the fear of failure and the pressure of perfectionism that holds us back. Procrastination and perfectionism often go hand-in-hand, creating a cycle that can lead to stress, anxiety, and even depression. But overcoming these tendencies starts with taking imperfect action and learning from mistakes, rather than striving for unattainable perfection.

Don't blame yourself because you make sometimes the bad choice. Find your own balance and make a little more effort every day. Your life is partly determined by where you from and how u get educated. Just keep making small effort.

@Dmkhbtdouygggdwws Жыл бұрын
You should blame yourself or else you are just avoiding self-responsibility. Also, that statement you made about your life being partly determined by your circumstances that you are not in control of is true but you also seem to be using that as another way to avoid self-responsibility. The point of the video is accepting self-responsibility rather than finding a way to avoid it or blame where you're from.

It’s not just a “choice,” it’s a struggle. Everyone handles and processes things differently. I guess in the end it always comes down to a choice, but it’s always more difficult for someone else than it is you depending on their circumstances, mindset, or the environment they grew up in to make that choice. I know that’s not the best way I could’ve put it, but you need a very strong mindset and not everyone has that. Others are also motivated in different ways. Never shit on someone for not being able to do something you can just bc it’s “supposedly” that simple for everyone. Everyone is different, and not everyone has the support they need if any. Some ppl don’t know how to rely on themselves due to self hatred, etc. Sometimes it’s our lives that impact our choices. This video is portrayed poorly for many reasons. I explained more down below.

@jadesimmons2080 Жыл бұрын
Also It’s the exact same thing throughout the whole video except the one version looks slightly different each time like omg we get it. Maybe make him look more depressed throughout rather than it just being the same damn thing for over 3 minutes or literally anything. It seems to be mainly focusing more of his physical appearance rather than the emotional effect. Sure he’s looking a bit annoyed a couple of times but seriously?

I agree, this video makes it seem like it's so easy, they didn't show any of the ads that are everywhere making you want to consume trash food, or someone who doesn't have the self-esteem or confidence and feels like has no value. Or even people with mental illnesses like me who struggle to get along with other people, make friends and find support.
@ichhichlefich1
@ichhichlefich1 Жыл бұрын
@@fueyo2229 even though it looks easy, it isn't in the beginning. at first it was very hard for me to change my live but as I saw how my choices can make me feel, it went better and better. If you do this consistently you will become happier and all these changes you have done, are no longer choices you make. they are habits now that you do naturally. Its kind of like loving yourself again :) At the start it is hard work, but in the end it is worth it!

@@boro6570 They have the same job, house and friends, but definitely not the same lifestyle... One has a healthy diet, exercises regularly, does his best at his job and doesn't procrastinate. The other one doesn't and that will inevitably have a negative impact on his wellbeing. "Lifestyle" is not just the things you have or do, it's how you go about life. This video shows that under the same circumstances one person can make their life better or worse depending on the choices they make. And while it may not make a huge difference to those looking from the outside, the one making those choices will definitely notice.

Both of these are actually kinda depressing. Wake up. Hastily grab whatever can make up for a fast breakfast. Waste your time in traffic, either put on an audio book and don't give it enough attention since you are driving or listen to something else. Go to work, whether you work or do nothing has actually little to no impact, it'll go unnoticed if you don't do anything at all. Go home. Your choice is either go to the gym even if are tired or stressed or binge watch TV while eating snacks, the book is not an option anymore although it is perfect time. Get to work more. Friend calls you to fill a bit of the emptiness of your daylife. You either join him now and get drunk with them to forget your problems or join them later to be with drunk people while still needing the beer to soothe the sensation of living a painful existence. Go back home alone, go to bed alone, sleep alone. Tomorrow will be the same day of this cyclical hell. Wake up.

This genuinely changed my life and started to think about what I need to do differently when I first saw this video in 2023. Thank you

There's a balance though right? I agree that you should keep trying to make the right choices for yourself, but that includes being able to assess what the right choice actually is. Yes going to the gym regularly is good for you, but if you're too sore from overworking or you sustained an injury then it's better to rest. Yes socialising is important, but if you didn't sleep well the night before or if you'd rather spend some time by yourself you can cancel your plans. Yes having a good diet is important, but that doesn't mean your life will fall apart if you have the occasional treat in celebration or for comfort. Most importantly, if you hold yourself to high and rigid standards, then either your routine or your mental health will break first, and trust me the fall from that can damage you more than a less strict lifestyle would have. Take care yall
