Yes, I saw the comment that you are referring to. I'm more upset with how some of the actors responded to comments than to the actual Pride flag. The ones who commented were very inappropriate. So true Kelly. The pride flag could easily have been left showing support “outside” of this filming. I will still support The Chosen though, for now anyway, because I think, to date, there is far more good here than bad. Let’s see what happens going forward. (Some viewers may not consider that some of the crew AND cast may not be heterosexual…up until now that was none of our business, and actually is their business, until they start to promote it on a project that is Christain based. That will, duh, really raise eyebrows. I never really understand why anyone has to promote and parade their sexual choices, anyway…seems very immature to me. Satan is such a pain in the butt.

I’m wondering how a flag of any sort would be standing on the set? Does that suggest approval of said lifestyle? If that is not the case then what’s the harm in letting disapproval be known? I can love a person regardless of faith & lifestyle and also disagree with that faith & lifestyle.

Because many actors are gay and they do not enforce a "no gay" code to be an actor. It wouldn't be prudent to offend all the actors. God has not struck them dead. We do not have the right to judge them. Everyone has their own walk.

The flag is very small and wedged onto the camera equipment the individual operates. Dallas Jenkins has sought out the best people for his production crew and that means Hollywood. Pray their presence in God's project will give them a change of heart 🙏

But because “pride” month is here the camera man made sure it was in the shot to give a middle finger to supporters of @thechosen fans & God! And Dallas Jenkins & some of the actors did the same thing! I will not send another penny in financial support because of the response of DJ & the actors! If they want to permit less than 1% of society over the Christian base to be who they cater to, so be it!

Lisa I cannot say I disagree with you. All are welcome here, but I do feel all said flags should be left outside the filming. For example - I would not be allowed, or it would be at least be frowned on to display religious promotions on my job. Pride displays are allowed because entities are afraid of law suits and companies are promoting to gain promotional points. I don’t agree with it, either. I do feel Jenkins, who I think really has a finger on the pulse of delivering God’s message through film, could have done better handling his contributors concerns. I won’t stop supporting The Chosen, because to date, the good far out-weighs the suspect. Let’s see what happens going forward, I say.

Mary would have not had therefore a repercussion of original sin - which is pain in childbirth. Secondly, Dogma also dictates that Mary is a perpetual virgin before, during and after the birth if Jesus. It has long been held by Scripture, Popes, Saints, a council, Liturgy and specifically in the Catechism of the Counci of Trent that Mary had no pain during childbirth.

The fact is this is the second year that cameraman has worked on this show. Did you notice anything last season? No you didn't because the show was not impacted by one cameraman working there and having a patch on his own personal harness. The show is still having to work with unions who have hiring rules because they do actually live in the world. Would you really prefer that the chosen discriminate against non-christians? Would you really like that to be what they do? Is that what you would support? If that is true then you need to do some self-examination. Jesus sought out the sinners because he believed in leaving the 99 in pursuing the one lost sheep. Apparently you think the lost sheep should be lost. I will pray for you.

It is interesting that actors from a crowd funded show would turn so rabidly on the people that have helped pay their wages. Don't tell me it was an accident because the production teams and post production teams are good at what they do. Dallas, you have lost a great deal over this one incident, how it was handled (the cut and paste response), the actions of the cast (who with their responses showed they didn't have the best interest of the show in mind) and finally from your lack of comments. (Please don't tell me you were too busy because this wasn't a fire to be put out, it was a major conflagration).
