I enjoy all the seasons. The 4th season was intense and emotional. I know 5th and 6th seasons will even more intense. I have heard alot of people say Jesus didnt tell jokes or the disciples didnt ask or question Jesus. I ask them have you ever read the Bible. Tho we dont know if Jesus told jokes, but he more than likely he had a sense of humor. The Bible doesnt tell everything Jesus did, like the Bible said it would take books to tell everything that Jesus said or what he did. The disciples were always asking and question Jesus because they didnt understand everything Jesus was teaching them or what was going to happen. They didnt completely understand until Jesus was Resurrected. When in doubt get your mind and heart on the word of God.

Thanks again, Brandon. Had to laugh out loud at this one: "It's like listing ex-girlfriends in your wedding vows." LOL As always you give clear, Christ-centered insights. Blessings to you from the Philippines.

Yes, that got me too! But when I recovered from the shock, I thought that was actually a great way to describe it!

I needed to hear many of these words. It’s easy to forget that we are all a work in progress. We are all weak and expected to be so. This is why the gift of confession is so important.

Romans 5: 12. I do not remember the scripture but it says something like through one man ( Jesus) salvation entered the world

Excellent insight Brandon! I also see books to the right of you! I cannot discern the title of the books. Would you recommend these books for sources of study relative to the Bible?

Dearest Brandon, blessings! You showed us the path of righteousness when you visited Israel, did you find -or someone knows- the location of the Valley of shadows of death? Could it the Psalm referred to some geographical location?

What is the difference between a tax collector and the Pharisee
@rochelle22698 ай бұрын
Pharisees are religious leaders where tax collectors were Jews that worked for the Roman’s and collected tax from their own ppl for Rome.
@user-tm4my4jb6d7 ай бұрын
@@rochelle2269most were not Jews. Mathew was unique. That is what makes it so damning for Matthew. Not only was he a tax collector. Matthew was also quite wealthy. And this means that he would have been keeping a boot on people's neck. And doing it well.
@Deborah-by7uq2lz7c8 ай бұрын
It seems that the God the Jews worshipped in the Torah during those days is not the same God I worship. The God I know wouldn't judge slaves, leopards or gentiles. Strange!
@lynnekelley75458 ай бұрын
Boy, do I agree! Wish the Sons of Thunder had their power with some of the Pharisees!
@amp23128 ай бұрын
Maybe it never was God as the one doing the judging of slaves, etc. It may have been mankind with its own prideful mindset that set up the cast system judging the worth of different people. One of the things Jesus did was try to tear all of that down.
@patriciadyer11228 ай бұрын
It wasn’t God who was judging these people. It was humans. That’s the point. Jesus didn’t question God’s judgment; he challenged human judgment.
@lynnekelley75458 ай бұрын
@amp2312 Actually, I meant that the Pharisees, Sanhedrin, and other Elders, created their version of the God of their forefathers. They even twisted the meanings of some of the prophets. In S1, E6, when Nicodemus, after visiting John the Baptist, confronts Schmuel as to what John was preaching, that was so wrong, and Schmuel's big comment was about being called vipers. Yes, the major issue was power, pride, and position.
