Yeah, I had a flash back to Chicago as I first went in. The designers were from the States so I guess the design would have some influence even with local fabrics and content.

Really a nice place with surrounding ambient and spacious. Where exactly in the Chow Kit since the area is a quite sizeable and I grown up in area near the vicinity. There were previously a lot post-war two-storey buildings around with a massive traffic along the TAR and Raja Laut. Viva KL!

You described it really well! Remember Wisma Sime Darby of the old days heading to city centre? It is at the next traffic junction. The building has seen many changes from a hospital (!) to Tune Hotel and now rebranded as The Chow Kit. Another nearby landmark is Nasi Kandar Kudu 😋. Thanks for watching.
