Isaac Newton was a monothiest who also rejected the Trinity. He even attempted to prove that Trinitarian passages in the Bible were latter-day corruptions.

Hi Mark, Encyclopedia Britannica says about Newton and Trinity: Newton found time now to explore other interests, such as religion and theology. In the early 1690s he had sent Locke a copy of a manuscript attempting to prove that Trinitarian passages in the Bible were latter-day corruptions of the original text. When Locke made moves to publish it, Newton withdrew in fear that his anti-Trinitarian views would become known. Have a read here. themuslimtimes.info/2012/10/03/isaac-newton-rejector-of-the-trinity-believer-in-one-god/

@Janardhan Parweshwar woah emotional much. Show me the trinity in the old testament then. Remember the old testament is a jewish scripture i.e the torah...but somehow christians altered and now have the new testament. So show me in the old testament who is God and where is the trinity then we'll see where your logic is

@Janardhan Parweshwar Newton most likely converted to Islam near the end of his life, he was greatly inspired by Muslims philosophers/scientists from the Golden age of Islam and he even stated Prophet Muhammad was a true prophet sent to the Arabs. And many other similar statements supporting Islam. twitter.com/_Halaby/status/1184765941629902848?s=20

And you should also know, in the social media nowadays Christian missionaries have too much obsession with Islam because they know their faith doesn't make sense anymore. Its indefensible. Can they not preach their religion happily and worship their trinity god? This world needs love and not preaching division and hatred.. people should not have time for nonsense. Diversity is beautiful, so we should respect the differences of our religions... May Allah reward you brother Adnan. I love you for the sake of Allah.

The fact that Muslims always do comparisons and bring up flaws in other faiths (of which there are just as many) when trying to justify the ills and wrongs of Islam is so typical and common and is boring . Islam has been exposed for what it really is ................ an outdated, violent, unfair, intolerant and backward political ideology masquerading as a religion with the aim of world domination and there is just no getting away from this.

U know the Christianity’s Doctrine is incoherent with simple rules of logic. And we want guidance for all humans, so in an appropriate settings we discuss the claims of Christianity, that’s it. @Roosje Keizer Okay but does it say that they are co equal and co eternal. When we talk about trinity we mean the Concept of today's trinity which is that all three persons are co equal and co eternal.. So yeah Jesus didn't believe in the trinity where all three persons are one essence, together equal and together eternal. . That verse shows a trio between them but not the "Trinity" in todays time. Just shows how the "trinity" is not mentioned in the bible and not a natural religious teaching or of Jesus teachings.

Alo koza Who created whom first ? Did Jesus (IF he's GOD ALMIGHTY in the person of three entities) created Mary first before he (Jesus) entered her womb ? OR that Mary gave birth to Jesus, before Jesus (as GOD ALMIGHTY) created her ? Did Jesus (being also God created His own mother ? Probably it was like this: "GOD first created Mary, then shrunk Himself down to the size of a sperm cell, then the Sperm God came down to planet Earth from His Abode in the Heavens; and He told the angel (who was with Mary at that moment in time) to deflect Mary's attention while that Sperm God went through her fallopian tube and into her uterus, and inseminated Himself with the first available egg. Thats how Mary became pregnant. The Sperm God laid in there for 9 months until it was time to come out as a Baby God i.e. Jesus ... He was to wear pampers, learn to pee and excrete and grope for Mary's tits. Most likely the Sperm God creative nature just want to witness what birth was like so He could 'understand' what every man and woman experienced as they were entering Life as we know it ... although no person living remembers anything about their own birth. The Sperm God entity had no other choice or ability to experience birthing so thats how He came into the world. No other options were considered by Him." 👆🏿 that ought to be how Christian believe Jesus as GOD Incarnate surmising the Christian belief of Jesus being GOD ALMIGHTY.

John 1:1 and 14, Jesus is the Word of God who became flesh so you and I can have eternal life through his death and resurrection, you wouldn't understand spiritual things because you lack the Holy Spirit to guide and teach you. @S A Yawn! The old testament spoke about how the Messiah would die, and Jesus of Nazareth fulfilled bible prophecy with his death and resurrection. Which are historical and biblical facts. What you should be concerned about is where you will spend your eternity? Your good deeds will not get you in heaven. You guys cannot discern spiritual things because you lack the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit will guide and teach you all things. See John 14:15-18 and John 16:7-10. The gospel message of salvation has never changed about Jesus ministry and death and resurrection, and the old testament prophets spoke of such things many years before Jesus's coming on the scene. Your own prophet confirmed the old and new testament. But nice try.

How do we reconcile this passage along with other passages such as Matthew 24:36-“But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone,” with the theology of the Trinity? Moreso, how do we answer objections to his equality to the Father (in divinity) within the LDS community and his actual divinity to groups just as the JWs based on these verses and others like it that appear to seperate the two person’s authority quite drastically. In John 14:28, Jesus says, “The Father is greater than I.” For many, this statement seems obvious: Jesus is not God. But is this really what our Lord was saying? In Catholic theology, this text can be understood in two ways. First, being “greater” than another does not have to mean one is essentially different from the other, as when we say a man is essentially distinct from an animal. Greatness can refer to one person functioning in a greater way quantitatively, qualitatively, or even relationally in comparison to another without there being an essential distinction. For example, Matthew 11:11 tells us there has never “risen among [men] a greater than John the Baptist: yet he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.” John is not something other than human because he is said to be greater than certain other people. All human beings share the same nature; therefore, they are absolutely equal in dignity. Similarly, the Father can be said to be greater than the Son pertaining to their relation within the inner life of God, but not with respect to their shared nature as being fully and equally God. The Father alone is the first principle of life in the Godhead; thus, the Catechism of the Catholic Church can say, in paragraph 246: “Everything that belongs to the Father, except being Father, the Son has also eternally from the Father, from whom he is eternally born . . .” (emphasis added). In this sense, the Father can be said to be greater than the Son relationally, while they are absolutely equal with regard to their essence as God. Another-and perhaps simpler-way one can legitimately interpret this text is to point out that John 14:28 seems to be emphasizing the humanity of Christ. Thus, because Jesus is fully man, it would be appropriate to say the Father would be greater than the Son. The entire verse reads: “You heard me say to you, ‘I go away, and I will come to you.’ If you loved me, you would have rejoiced, because I go to the Father; for the Father is greater than I.” Jesus was emphasizing here and in previous verses his impending death, resurrection, and departure from the apostles. This would apply to his humanity most particularly. Thus, the same Jesus who can say, “I and the Father are one” in John 10:30-as God-can say, “The Father is greater than I” in John 14:28-as man. WHY DID JESUS HIDE HIS GLORY? Glorify the Father Jesus hid his glory when he became a man in order to show his Father’s glory. “No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him” (John 1:18). When Old Testament believers witnessed an appearance of Christ, they were often fearful for their lives. They knew that sinful man could not look upon God and live. The glory of God was also the judgment of God; the natural person who saw it died. When Moses spent forty days alone with God on Mount Sinai, it was necessary to cover his face when he came down because it reflected the glory of God. The people could not look upon God and live. When John was on the Isle of Patmos, he too had a vision of Christ. When John saw Jesus in the full glory that was his from the beginning, John wrote, “And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead” (Rev. 1:17). When Paul had a similar vision of Christ, he was blinded with light from heaven (Acts 9:3-9). Later he wrote of being “caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter” (2 Cor. 12:4). When Isaiah saw the Lord in the temple, he cried out, “Woe is me…” (Isa. 6:1-8).If Jesus had not veiled his preincarnate glory he could not have accomplished what he came to earth to do. It was necessary for Christ to hide his glory temporarily as he sought to save the souls of men. After the work of atonement was done, he could pray, “And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was” (John 17:5). Limitations of Humanity As a result of the incarnation, Jesus became the God-man. He was at all times both God and man as he lived on earth. When Jesus became flesh, he voluntarily subjected himself to its limitations Be. fore his birth, heaven was his throne. Now in the flesh, Jesus was limited to the distance that a man could walk on the paths of Galilee. The Son of God who created water voluntarily lived in a body that got thirsty. Jesus was born into this world as other humans (Luke 2:120), even though his conception was supernatural. As a child he developed as every human must develop. Jesus grew in mental, physical, spiritual, and social areas of life (Luke 2:52). He had the essential elements of human nature. He was body (Heb. 10:5), soul (John 12:27), and spirit (Mark 2:8). Jesus became hungry when he did not eat (Matt. 4:2). He became tired and asked the woman at the well for water to drink (John 4:6). Throughout his life on earth, Jesus was just as human as any one of us, subject to the same emotional experiences of sorrow, pain, and hurt which any man experiences. The willingness of Jesus to limit himself to becoming a man gives us confidence that he understands the affairs of our lives. “For we have not an high priest who cannot be touched with the feelings of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin” (Heb. 4:15). Because he has experientially known the frustrations of humanity, we have a “God of all comfort” (2 Cor. 1:3) upon whom we can depend. While those who deny his deity believe they are honoring Jesus Christ in calling him a great man, the Bible says he emptied himself voluntarily by accepting the limitations of humanity. Yet at all times he remained God.He surrendered the independent use of some attributes. Self-emptying took place also by the voluntary choice not to use certain of his attributes. Power of the Holy Spirit Perhaps the best expression of omnipotence is that of the miracles of God. Even though Jesus was known as a miracle worker, he performed those miracles through the power of the Holy Spirit (Matt. 12:28). He voluntarily laid aside his power to do them and relied on the Holy Spirit or the Father. On various occasions he made it clearly known he was doing the work of his Father. “Then answered Jesus, and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise” (John 5:19). During his earthly life and ministry, Jesus was omniscient, but did not know the time of the second coming. He was omnipresent, but when he became flesh, he limited himself to being in one place at one time. He was omnipotent, yet he prayed to God to perform the raising of Lazarus from the dead. Jesus had not lost these attributes of God, but rather, in the process of emptying himself, he chose not to use his relative attributes.

@Sage of Synergism Error The father as God, in the metaphorical sense is not a problem for Muslims. We totally reject any notion of "begotten" like your Bible wrongly claim So if the Father is ONLY GOD, then Trinity is a SCAM and false !!! Secondly, John 17:1 or John 17:5 does NOT prove anything as the Bible said we ALL (not only Jesus) have glory with God before the world began (in the foreknowledge of God) 1 Cor 2:7 _"No, we declare God's wisdom, a mystery that has been hidden and that _*_God destined for our GLORY before time began"_* Lastly, as for black stone... We don't worship it but only regard as as sacred just like your have those stones in the Ark in the Bible or the cherubim in the temple.... Or the stone that Joshua used as a witness etc If you think all these is idolatry, then you just condemn your own Bible

Joseph Priestley FRS (/ˈpriːstli/;[4] 24 March [O.S. 13 March] 1733 - 6 February 1804) was an English chemist, natural philosopher, separatist theologian, grammarian, multi-subject educator, and liberal political theorist who published over 150 works. He has historically been credited with the discovery of oxygen,[5] having isolated it in its gaseous state, although Carl Wilhelm Scheele and Antoine Lavoisier also have strong claims to the discovery, Scheele having discovered it in 1772, two years before Priestley.[6] en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joseph_Priestley

If Islam that you embrace is part of CONSERVATIVE who adoring what Mohammad did in year 600 something and NEVER want to revised it or modernize it; and then it is STRANGE way to see you jumping to LIBERAL wagon just to against TRINITY. :) Before i explain TRINITY, i have to asking this simple question FIRST,"Are YOU conservative or LIBERAL Islam believer?" Someone ever asked,"Can Christians drag out TRINITY concept?" I said,"Off course we CAN. Which one you want to drag out: God CREATOR in Old Testament, Jesus in 4 Gospel books or Holy Spirit in New Testament that wrote by Apostles?" He didn't able to choosing. Because he knew it is impossible to drag out all three since they are having THE SAME DIVINE IDENTITY. Anyway, Sir....if Islam believe one day Isa AS return with Imam Mahdi or as Imam Mahdi against Dajjal, WHAT is Isa AS format? As Zat, Spirit or he perform like Jesus as MAN again? If he return again after millions years gone, HOW old he is at that time? I am waiting your answer.

Just a prophet sent by God to deliver a message and that is to worship Allah alone. Christianity is so confusing; they say they believe in the trinity (father, son and the holy spirit) then they say “Jesus is God” like..what..? Why complicate things? Just pick one and make up your mind. Another thing is, why would God (or in their mind: “Jesus”) send himself down to earth and let himself die by his own creation so that they are able to sin for their lives and then enter heaven when they die?? *insert confused Jackie Chan meme*

Ofcours, we cannot explaine Trinity, Beacuse that is a Mystery of God... The moment you think you can put God in a box and explain Him with your brain He is not God.. So if Allah can be explained he is not god!! In Bible, Old Testament ( or Torah ) and New Testament you could find how God manifested to people/prophets in physical form.. Father ( Yahwe ) in New Testament gave glory and authority over all flesh to the Son ( Jesus ) who was prophesied in Old Testament... So Father elevated Son on a larger scale then Himself... Then Son stated that the sin against the Father and the Son will be forgiven, but sin against The Holy Spirit will not be forgiven... And by that statment Son elevated Holy Spirit even on a higher scale... I know that nobody cannot explain Trinity beacuse that is just the forms in which God reveled himself to us thru scripture!! What is logical to human for God is not... Beacuse God is outside space, time and matter and God cannot be explained...

I belive Adam was more inteligent that todays people but when sin entered this world Gods image was corrupted ( btw, that is first goal of Satan to corrupt Gods image )... I belive that generations before me were more inteligent than I am today; and I think thath future generations will degrade their "brain usage"... Adam had perfect genes and people of today do not...

@@isbieiskandar7641 Yes I did, you just do not understand the answer... Your question has no connection to Trinity... You could ask a similar question; like: Why did God create humans with arms or thumbs?? Why do you think that you can explain God??? We as humans live in 3-dimensional world limited by the laws of nature and physics... But God, and by that I mean Yahwe, is not restricted by the laws of physics... Yahwe can enter His creation... I know Allah cannot do that, Allah can only go to the lower heaven to listen to the prayers... And if you start to compare moral laws of Allah and Yahwe you will then realise who is false god... And to answer you false logic of Adnan who is claiming that Joseph Priestley is a Christian who does not belive in Trinity... I am telling you J.Priestley is not a Christian, beacuse who denies the Son denies the Father... And Son, (aka: Jesus ) is the Truth, the Way and Life!!!

Ludwig Haetzer Title page, Alle Propheten nach Hebraischer sprach, German translation of Old Testament prophets by Ludwig Haetzer and Hans Denck, Augsburg, 1528 Ludwig Haetzer (also Ludwig Hetzer, Ludwig Hätzer and sometimes Ludwig Hatzer) (1500 - 4 February 1529) was an Anabaptist. Born in Bischofszell, Thurgau, Switzerland, he wrote an article against the uses of images in worship, translated some Latin evangelical texts regarding the conversion of Jews, and, together with Hans Denck, he translated the prophets of the Bible into German in 1528. Haetzer also wrote a booklet discouraging the consumption of alcohol. He regarded Jesus as a leader and teacher only; not divine and not an object of worship, therefore an anti-trinitarian and possibly a Unitarian. Haetzer attended the Martyrs' Synod in Augsburg. He was executed for his Anabaptist radicalism by beheading in Konstanz, Germany, on 4 February 1529, technically for adultery.

TRINITY CONCEPT IN ISLAM Zubayr Ibn al-Awwan reported that he heard the Prophet say ” From eternity Allah has been there with his Word and his Spirit ,he established his throne from nothing and when he made he said ” We created the heavens and the earth and all between them in Six Days, nor did any sense of weariness touch Us. ” And by his Word they were created, and by his spirit he adorned the heavens. -- ( Al Hikmat fi Qawl al Nabii Muhammad - The Wisdom in the Saying of the Prophet Muhammad , Volume 1 , Page 92 , By Shaykh Hussein Abi Talib Al Marikhi , Bahrain - 1979)
