Honeslty, I think a big part of the reason Ms Mathilda stands out, is whoever her voice actress is, actually put in some effort in her performance. Its not great, but its lot better than all other voice acting here!

That's what makes it so hilarious. The children all sound like their just kids the animators family brought in, and the two adults judy and ray sound like they're dosed up to the eyeballs on something. Only Mavilda and the Mayor put any effort in, so it stands out.

Wow you guys are brave for going into this. I can only imagine the nightmares this caused for children and parents who watched this so-called special. There is so much laziness, so many contrived, nonsensical plot points, and horrible voice-acting, it's almost as if robots put this together. It's like they laid the groundwork as to how to satirize every Christmas Special trope out there. I really hope someone comes forward with the story as to how it got made in the first place someday, because like you said, it's one of those things that really shouldn't exist. Mavilda is over-the-top evil for no reason, and Judy's a real disappointment in that she seems prepared to stand up to Mavilda but falls back into submissiveness just as easily. Maybe at some point, the director had a solid storyline set up, but a combination of deadlines, staff conflicts, and other issues may have sent it off the rails. At least Rapsittie has an explanation for why it turned out so bad. With this one, it's just so shady, it's almost not worth knowing. Thanks again, guys. And a Merry Christmas to you all!
