Chris really does behave like a cartoon because he believes that he *physically shouldn't be able* to do something he doesn't want to, so anytime someone asks him to do something (like call himself gay) in exchange for a reward (like freeing his perceived girlfriend from imprisonment), Chris just grunts, struggles, hides his face, changes his voice, forgoes wearing self-proclaimed symbols of honesty (his medallion), making demands back, a whole bunch of not-so-subtle little hints to his viewers (and the demanding party) that he's being forced to do this, when the entire point of the video is to appear as if you're actually doing it.

Actually it was filmed with a PSEye webcam, which was meant to be an accessory for the Playstation 3, but Chris (being Chris) frequently used it as a regular camera as well. The shitty picture quality was likely the result of the poor lighting in his room combined with all the damage the camera sustained from Chris frequently punching it in his rage videos for dramatic effect.
