@@devilovesdevil but i think that would ruin his redemption in the movie. The book lets us know from the get-go that Edmund was kind of an ass, but maybe it wouldn't come off as strong in the movie with just one scene. It would seem to most people like the betrayal wasn't his fault at all, which it very much was, and strip away the responsibility from him. The fact that most of that was his own childish desire for vengeance and not realizing how serious it would be makes his redemption arc a lot more powerful. And the movie can't just throw out exposition about it like a narator in a book can.

Someone (not me) wrote this on the clip showing the coronation scene: "Peter: Oak leaf (represents longevity, humble beginnings, patience, faith, power, endurance, and strength) Susan: Daffodils (represents spring, chivalry, rebirth). Edmund: Birch leaf (represents redemption) Lucy: Yarrow flower (represents, courage, healing, and love)" That person pointing this out makes it all the more better.

It hurts my heart to realise they lived a whole life in while they were in Narnia and then when they come back through the closet at the end they’re back as children. The thought that from there on they’re adults having to live through our (old) world as kids again being belittled after they have fought in wars and had duties as kings and queens for years stresses me out

Fun fact: That teacher they were with, Digory, he was there as a child when Narnia was created, and he got an apple in a garden to heal his sick mother and from the seeds of that apple grew a tree, which was then made into the wardrobe that got the to Narnia. That's why he was so surprised to discover Lucy said she found a hidden world in the closet. @@locke5046 Well Lion King was the first real movie I ever watched and fell in love with. Before I watched lion king I think I watched a total of 3 other movies too so it was definitely one of the few movies out there for me to love, but I did quickly. And I was maybe 4 or 5 when I saw it. It was the first time I saw death portrayed anywhere. So it made me cry badly. Aslan getting his mane cut off just felt so cruel as a kid. Also I'm native american and the thought of someone forcibly cutting off my own hair makes me incredibly afraid and disgusted. It's just apart of the culture to find hair being removed by force super disturbing. But yes, I do feel for lions. Lol. Bambi's mom dying too is a classic reason as a kid for me to cry so it wasn't just lions. But mainly animated animals.

Totally agree if Disney didn’t messed up during the release for narnia prince caspian they would of made so much moneyx they did the worst mistake by releasing between two movies iron man and Indiana Jones which were killer in the box office which stole a lot of prince caspian box office, it doesn’t help that the sequel release longer than expected than most book franchise, what they should of done by releasing it during Christmas like the first movie and also other factors too.

@@shaggymofo7716The only thing Disney messed up about Prince Caspian was the release time. Making the sequal to a movie with the world having the arc of "always winter never Christmas" to Santa showing up that was released in December turn around and release in the summer was a mistake. Say what you want about Disney Star Wars but they were so afraid of people getting scared by the timing of the release within the year that they changed every release post-TFA to be December, because they saw how Prince Caspian underperformed.

actually there’s a clip after the first credits, that shows lucy trying to go again to narnia and the old man says “i tried, but it doesn’t work now” or something like that (i'm spanish and i’m trying to remember and translate what they say in that clip) and it shows how they leave the wardrobe open, and you can hear aslan's roar from the inside of the wardrobe (pd: i read the first 2 books by the original order, and it explains a lot of things that the movie shows; such as why you can go to narnia by the wardrobe, or why this old man has the wardrobe and knows about narnia and many other)
