The book lets us know from the get-go that Edmund was kind of an ass, but maybe it wouldn't come off as strong in the movie with just one scene. It would seem to most people like the betrayal wasn't his fault at all, which it very much was, and strip away the responsibility from him. The fact that most of that was his own childish desire for vengeance and not realizing how serious it would be makes his redemption arc a lot more powerful. That's why he was so surprised to discover Lucy said she found a hidden world in the closet. @@locke5046 Well Lion King was the first real movie I ever watched and fell in love with. Before I watched lion king I think I watched a total of 3 other movies too so it was definitely one of the few movies out there for me to love, but I did quickly. And I was maybe 4 or 5 when I saw it. It was the first time I saw death portrayed anywhere. So it made me cry badly. Aslan getting his mane cut off just felt so cruel as a kid. Also I'm native american and the thought of someone forcibly cutting off my own hair makes me incredibly afraid and disgusted. It's just apart of the culture to find hair being removed by force super disturbing. But yes, I do feel for lions. Lol. I'll never get over the theory that the siblings are the founders of Hogwarts... They just fit perfectly. Also, gotta point out, the Queen was wearing Aslan's mane in the final battle.

OMG I have never heard that theory beforee

I came to the comments to see if anyone else noticed that about the queen, that was such a good costume design choice.
@DivaQuinzel4 жыл бұрын
@kosa wha It's simply based on the idea that the siblings fit the personalities of the four founders. There is no lore based theory around it, it's just for fun. Peter = Godric Gryffindor(Brave and Heroic) Susan = Rowena Ravenclaw(Logical and Smart) Edmund = Salazar Slytherin (Ambitious and Sly) Lucy = Helga Hufflepuff(Kind and loyal)

Umm... All of the people that went to Narnia died in a train wreck and went to Aslan’s Country... only Susan survived because she forgot Narnia existed. She was going to have her own book but I think the author died.
@calebgoodman20764 жыл бұрын
@kosa wha Especially since canonically everyone except Susan died after the events of the series.

I remember growing up watching these films, seeing this little girl find this magical place in this house just gave me so much serotonin as a child. I aspired to be that little girl, to BE that little kid that found something magical.

Bridge to Terabithia was disappointing to me cause i was in fantasy binge as a child and the fact that BtT never wenr full fantasy and just gave the impression of their imagination wasn't enough for me

@@stahppls2293 when I was little I was completely convinced what they were seeing was real (that’s just cuz I’m rlly gullible lol) and as I got older I realized they were just imagining those things in the forest the whole time. It’s quite depressing actually but I like how it’s a great representation of being a kid and growing up :)
