Weird, futuristic concept cars are a dime a dozen (frankly, on that note, this reminds me of the Dodge M4S). But would anyone else like Chrysler, whose centennial is just one year away, to preview an actual production vehicle at some point? Maybe a (near) luxury Imperial sedan to put a bit of luster back on the name? A Town & Country SUV (because, let's face it, that's what the original wagon evolved into) as a Land Rover killer? Something with some Chrysler heritage that doesn't look like every other Vision Gran Turismo video game concept car? Or am I just being nitpicky?

Ya but it’s sad seeing how such an iconic staple in the American automotive industry go to such a waste. They should have NEVER discontinued the 300. They should have never changed their logo to these two lines, like the 2009-2023 logo was the best. They have wasted so much money on this concept that im 98% sure it’s not even gonna go into production. I’m all for electric cars and sustainability. An electric 300 would be amazing. Stellantis really destroyed Chrysler and Dodge. It’s so sad to think that they won’t even last past this decade and meet the same demise as Oldsmobile, Pontiac, amc, Saab, mercury, Plymouth, Saturn and all the discontinued brands.
@cabforwardooo99839 ай бұрын
@@rocketshiftgaming5693 You may end up being right, but the Chrysler brand has no identity right now and they are trying to reinvent themselves. A nice looking concept car, but you’re literally down to ONE product with the discontinuation of the 300; you NEED to come up with production ready cars SOONER than later or else the customers you already have with the Pacifica will start to shop somewhere else and then the Chrysler brand is done for.

Most people barely can afford a vehicle, hense why the big three are so big as well as toyota and honda, compaired to bmw, mercedes, audi etc, i need to get to work to scrape by and ooh, a cheap economy compact or small suv that isnt as nice/fast/comfortable/stylish as a s class or m5 but is cheap and fuel efficient and has awd for winter? Nobody wants these cars. People use their cars for everyday, repetitive tasks, where a car just needs to work. Rarely do we venture out on a journey where I need the car to be auto-acclimated. And self-driving cars should have everyone far more frightened than they are. You want to impress people? Unveil a car that excels at being a car, not a pleasure-dome for non-drivers. Show that it can be excellent with minimal technology that drives up costs. And, I'm sorry, but the moment I hear that a car is mostly made of recycled content, I know that it will only stay intact for at most 7 years. Recycled materials do not have the same strength and durability as virgin materials. Also, let's note that Chrysler is now a "brand" and not the engineering company of old. Only a child would think the look and idea of this vehicle is cool when you’ve already made the new chargers and Durango‘s, and the late model viper was a great design success… I don’t feel as though this concept vehicle moves anything forward This whole promotion seems like they’re trying to be a new type of Tesla instead of an evolution of a Chrysler ….

Why you haven’t kept up with everyone is beyond me try bringing in really good designers like Hyundai did with their brands. You need subcompact, compact, midsize, and large crossovers. You need a new design language, work on hybrids vehicles first then do all electric down the road let’s be honest America isn’t ready for full time electric vehicles the charging infrastructure isn’t there yet and people still have legitimate range anxiety. I like the idea but we all know they're not going to make it. It would require too much capital for a brand fighting for its life among countless other siblings in the Stellantis portfolio. As portrayed, it would be way too expensive for it to be a commercial success, more of a fun toy like a supercar would be to a wealthy elite. I think Chrysler needs to get back to what they were trying to do back in 2010/2011 when Fiat first took over by elevating the brand from its history as a near or mid level luxury brand into an unabashed full luxury brand like Cadillac and Lincoln, a position the short lived Imperial brand once held for the company. If they try to go right at Tesla like it looks like they're doing here, they will fail. They need a line up of a midsized luxury sedan (3 series, Ct5?) competitor, and a large midsized to full sized flagship sedan (5 or 7 series competitor). And of course hold on to the minivan that has come to define the brand in recent decades, as thar has become a niche market once again and I see no reason why, as the creator of the segment, they couldn't continue dominating it. Of course they need to consider maybe a small crossover to compete with the smaller Cadillac/Lincoln models and maybe base a full size SUV/Crossover off the current Wagoneer/Grand Wagoneer platform but make an effort to up the luxury stats from that held by those models. If they can do that successfully then MAYBE start developing some futuristic halo car such as this "Halcyon" but if they can't prove that they have the resources and desire to compete against at least Cadillac and Lincoln, I feel that this concept shows that they're simply going boom or bust with this vehicle, and when the "bust" comes, as I think it would if they started making this car tomorrow, it spells an end for the legendary Chrysler brand, which I would hate to see.
