Brilliant church tour, and very interesting that the church and its contents are a "patchwork", if you will, of historical artifacts from various eras. I must say that medieval font is truly something to behold. Imagine just how many baptisms have been carried out using its water over centuries! Thanks for sharing Andy

Many thanks for the in depth account of the beautiful church located in Caterham Valley. I visited it many times as a child when I attended the church school opposite and for the funeral for my late husband in 1978. I learned many interesting facts that I wasn’t aware of before especially about the magnificent church organ. I look forward to seeing your next video. : )

I think that name on the plaque is Scrivener, not Seribener. It's difficult to read that 'Gothic' script.

@@christmascarol87 Ah, that's interesting, Carol. Many thanks for that. The inscription was very difficult to decipher because of the light and reflection, as well as the script, so I had to do the best I could. 😅
