What an excellent piece. Interesting that it is push button but with the traditional bell ring. I have not seen a phone like that over here on my side of the pond, and I have quite the collection of them. I really like that color combination, again, something not seen here in the states. I for sure would have bought that had I seen it out on one of my treasure hunts. I think an interesting video would be to intertwine your phone from the 80’s, and make a comparison video of a period phone here in the states. I also have a 1980 Canadian phone that would also make for interesting comparison. You could call it Andy compares antique and vintage items from around the globe 😎 . Maybe one of these days we can collaborate and I can send you some raw video of similar items here in the states and let you work your magic to make the professional videos you post. Your narration skills are excellent. I have a question….. For someone like myself who goes treasure hunting here by going to garage, yard and estate sales, do those type of sales exist where you live? That would be an excellent video, walking through an estate sale showing what they are selling.

Superb video and many thanks for showing us not only the history and spiritual facets of the Church but also the mechanics of the bells and the structures for access and the means of pealing. You see church towers from the outside but have little knowledge of how complex they are.

@peterhewson3216 Thank you, Peter, and I'm very glad you enjoyed it. The climb was a wonderful opportunity, and I was surprised by the number of floors and the amount of space there was inside. The bells were particularly interesting and, as you said, far more complex than is generally imagined.

Most of RAF Kenley is "Common Land" making it impossible to build any permanent structure on it. Today it is legal for anyone to exercise their dog on the runway. That's the ATC 's problem.
@tacraling4 күн бұрын
@JamesWilliamson-w8y There's been a perimeter fence there for many years now, which was quite controversial when it was first erected. It's nice to still be able to get close and access the aircraft blast pens, etc. Many thanks for watching. 👍

Many churchyards opperate 'paupers graves' where several ineviduals will be buried ( one above other) at suitable intervals ....n no headstone or named markers are allowed to be placed on them,ever! Hence...in future the Gravestone memorial are in different part of cemetary!
