Still very cool album...deceptively simple sounding but actually great young musicians playing well the very creative chord changes of well crafted songs...at times sound like early Stones as in The Weeks Go By which has jumpin jack flash riffs all through it

this album is slightly better than their second album 'send me no flowers',it's more cohesive, and the songwriting is better,'the weeks go by' is leaning too heavily on 'jumpin jack flash',firm favourites are 'eventual love','crystal palace' and 'where will you be tomorrow'(shades of the marmalade here),but their absolute best song is 'time piece',bloodrock did an excellent rendition of this song on their first album.

It’s a good album but to be honest I’m a little disappointed that they weren’t a medieval themed novelty boy band and all they’re songs weren’t written Shakespearean like, because to be honest that’s what I thought this was gonna be 😭. I like Princess Mary Margaret the most

These guys are good, but with so many of these obscure albums from the late '60's, you hear that one element that kept the band from being great. The Churls rock....but their sound isn't very mature. It's like hard teenybopper rock. "Time Piece" is the one exception....THAT is a great track.
