One of the cooler/unexpected benefits of subscribing to your channel is that not only do I get a better picture of the broad range of churches and worship styles out there, but I also get to learn a lot of Americana history that I probably wouldn’t have known otherwise. Thank you as always!

Three ring circus... Father, Son and Holy Ghost. I loved the huge, beautiful old olive trees in the garden area. Martha's deserves a revisit to see the circus mass.😊

David, I am so glad you decided to research historic churches! This was a fascinating history! I had never heard of the circus church. I can't really decide what was the most interesting, but, definitely the stuffed lion is close to the top of the list. But, the fact that having a circus in the first place ended up helping so many people in multiple ways is something that I am glad to know. I hope you never get tired of your research and sharing it with us. Between these vlogs and your efforts to raise money for St. Jude Children's Hospital, you are an inspiration to me and make me want to help others, too.

Very interesting. I had never heard this before. How do you find these churches with such interesting backgrounds? Great vlog as always.

This is such an enjoyable journey. I always appreciate the respect with which you visit other houses of worship. More than that, I love the genuine search for truth that you obviously continue to pursue. Well done!

Brings back fond memories! I went to the Ringling Bros. circus in my hometown of Idaho in the 1950's. I wasn't a teen yet but it was a big deal. I even got to meet the famous clown Emmett Kelly. Great research David! You get around don't you?

Your stories are very interesting. I admire all that you do. Has your bishop talked to you about a patriarchal blessing yet? It would greatly benefit you in your covenant path.

I've given that some thought, I was hesitant to do it early since I was so new to the church. Now with several months under my belt, looking to move forward on that soon.

I’m so happy to hear that. It’s truly an amazing experience and will be a guide for the rest of your life. It’s been great to see the opportunities you’ve been having with your utube channel.

Was that the Pocket 3 you were using? I need to get the same studio mic you have. I'm using the DJI Mic 2 in my studio, which is great for outside, but the Shure mic has a deeper tone I'd like to eventually use.

For a long time I thought you were recording in your car because it was quick but actually the audio is the biggest reason. Something about the mike and room combo isnt as nice as the car, this video has much more echo.
@52churchesin52weeks9 күн бұрын
Yes! Put in some investment with the Pocket 3 and this was the first time using it on location. Still playing around with some settings as I experiment, but I like how versatile and steady it is. I was surprised just how much traffic was picked up by the DJI mic. Shure mic is solid for sure.

Looks like perhaps a Minerva Teichert painting?

I thought the same thing. That had to be Minerva.

One of my biggest regrets is assuming that Barnum and Bailey Circus was going to be around forever, and then finding out that they were shutting down. ☹️ Keep up the great work Brother Boice! Love your work!

Do you attend your LDS services every Sunday? That is part of getting to the temple which I am assured you have been challenged to do. In order to get a recommend you have to attend all of your church meetings and services
@lindajo445613 күн бұрын
He's aware of that.

He has addressed that many times and quite frankly ...not for you to worry about or make public comments. Those type of comments don't help. He is doing great and we are here to watch his fun interesting content, not to tell him what he should or shouldn't be doing. He knows
