Many former Separatists did, however, I think B1's would have been a far better choice. Perhaps not as durable as the B2's, but their smaller light frame and mechanical strength could have filled in many rolls, from maintenance of vessels to vehicles, assisting in building bases, to ordinance disposal, to getting into tight corridors, delivering supplies and carrying so to reduce fatigue from, and removing wounded wounded from the battlefield. And all at a low, low cost.

However, given the empire did absorb a part of cos. They can be consider as a successor as well so it might be an interesting match up

i think he did it on purpose. Since neither Canon, nor Legends has shown that it isn‘t possible to fly backwards, he didn’t do anything wrong. I think he wanted the Munificent to cover the back (where they came from so no Republic forces can attack them from behind). But i can be wrong.

You gotta appreciate the Confederacy’s rapid ability to mobilize They could have won a war they were designed to lose, and the Separatist battle droid was far superior as a soldier Interchangeable parts, thin and hard-to-hit frame, and of course sheer weight of affordability and adaptability

Basically "drown them in droids" strategy, with a single B-1 model costing something like a clone trooper's armour, WITHOUT the trooper in it.

Yeah they could have just overrun the Republic if Palpatine didn't hold them back. Who cares if a clone performs better when you outnumber them like 100000 to 1?
