This piece has been on my list for so long and the more I see reviews the more I’m sold on it. Thanks for the review

Thanks for dropping by. I’m loving this watch so far. In fact, loving it more each day. It’s so understated and yet so cool with all the features I mentioned. But it’s not perfect. Stay tuned for the following Part Two and Three videos.

Same as me man! . Been searching for my grail watch , looking grand Seiko , Tudor , Rolex etc ... Just KEEP coming back to the citizen chronomaster especially the aq4100 Blue dial.. wish it was easier to purchase .. paying $4000 AUD online I'm not fond of .

Thanks for taking the time to review this watch! I've become more and more interested in it. Have you tried it on many straps? I know it's 19mm but from my understanding you can fit a 20mm in it
@AndyinSG Жыл бұрын
Most welcome! Actually I haven’t tried any straps on this one because I feel it looks and wears great on the stock bracelet. I just want to leave it as is and enjoy the ultra-lightweight.

Hi, Andy! Did you tried also the 40mm model, the one with lume, also? If yes what make you to decide to buy this one instead the 40mm? It was too big for your wrist? I am asking because I have same wrist size like you.
@AndyinSG Жыл бұрын
Hey man, thanks for dropping by. For me it was straightforward decision. For watches of this style, definitely keep to under 40mm. Because it’s bezel-less, it will look too big if 40mm and above.

@@AndyinSG I see, up 40's is divers territory 😁! I watch your videos for over 3 years now. This Washi paper dial, Zaratsu polishing and high tech movement behind is making a very attractive watch. Although it is a "for connoisseurs" type of watch. 😉

@@radu_serban thanks man. Really appreciate the support here. Yes, the AQ4020 Washi dial has been on my radar for a while ever since I saw it on Peter Deplyant’s website review. And I’m happy so far with the purchase. You might want to have a look at the AQ4080 which I recently unboxed. Same movement, but slightly different design cues. Of course not titanium too. Still a cool watch.

Is this a rebadged chronomaster?
@AndyinSG Жыл бұрын
No. It IS the Chronomaster.

I'm confused! Did Citizen just ripped off Grand Seiko?
@AndyinSG Жыл бұрын
Nothing to be confused about. This design is pretty generic. From Seiko5 to GS to Rolex, they look the same from 2m away.
@junkyardparadise Жыл бұрын
@Andy in SG this design is not generic at all. From the case design to the bracelet to using Titanium, this is totally Grand Seikoish.

It's no rip off. Citizen have been using this style since the 70s. And the movement is an evolution of a much older quartz movement. All of this was before Seiko brought out the Grand Seiko line. See link below for an earlier Citizen - looks remarkably like the watch in this video. kzbin.info/www/bejne/iIXHg4ukn6eUb9E
