TURN ON SUBTITLES WHILE WATCHING A VIDEO Tomaszów Mazowiecki is a city in the Łódź Voivodeship, the seat of the Tomaszów Poviat. Archaeological excavations indicate that the area currently occupied by the city of Tomaszów Mazowiecki was densely inhabited already in the prehistoric period. In 1807, Tomaszów became part of the Duchy of Warsaw. After 1946, the authorities nationalized the largest light industry factories established in the 19th century during the industrial and chemical revolution.
