Hebron is a city in Palestinian territories that has an Israeli settlement built right in the center of it. What I saw there was shocking, I couldn't believe a place like Hebron existed with actual segregation. The west bank & Gaza are the only two small pieces of land that Palestinians have been left with and yet, Israeli Jewish settlers feel they have the right to claim that land as well. Backed by the Israeli government and military, Hebron was divided into two sections after the second intifada (Palestinian uprising). The story of Hebron is sickening and immoral. This video was initially two hours long but had to be cut due to fear of retaliation by the Israeli government on the Palestinians featured in the video. I would like to personally thank Abdallah who gave us this tour of Hebron and taught us about the history here. What was even more interesting is that there were other tours of Hebron given by Israeli Jewish settlers, convincing Jewish people from around the world that Hebron belongs to them and they should move there. Please take your time to watch this video and feel free to leave a comment below if you have any questions.

Me too. I had to prepare myself weeks in advance before going to Hebron. The morning I was heading to Hebron, I was in a service taxi with people squished in a van. I received a call from my mom that my grandmother passed away. I kept my emotions together as much as possible. But when I met Muneer, he reminded me so much of my grandmother. I felt like I was really meant to meet him 💜 he’s really special.

Nothing illegal about that. Just because the UN says it doesnt mean it's reality. The UN hates Israel with a passion. There have been more resolutions for Israel than countries like Russia, NK, Syria, Iran, Myanmar, Eritrea, Venezuela, Belarus etc combined.

Did the Palestinian tour guide mention the Hebron massacre of 1929? just saying, there are two sides to each story. Edit: the guide conveniently forgets the fact that the checkpoints were built to prevent Palestinian suicide bombers from blowing Israeli civilians into pieces, which happened a lot during the second intifada.

1982 Shabra and Shatila massacre commited by the lebanese army but supported by the IDF. Because of that they called Ariel Sharon the "Butcher of Beirut". The checkpoints were built for that purpose, yes, but look at the palestinians now in Hebron. If you treat humans like animals, yeah big suprise, they will act like animals.

Why is it shocking for the Jews to be in their ancestral land? Hebron is an ancient Jewish city, This is where Abraham and Sarah are buried. Not Hagar and Ishmael.
@amariuss
@amariuss Жыл бұрын
Actually it’s the ancestral land of the Palestinian people. Genetic studies show Palestinian Y chromosomes represent early lineages derived from the Neolithic inhabitants of the levant with additional lineages from more recent population movements from the Arabian peninsula. Since the ancestors of the Palestinians (a mix of all kinds of Canaanites groups) stayed in the region continuously, they lived through her Roman, Byzantine and Arab eras. As culture isn’t static, the ancestors of today’s Palestinians where the Aramaic/Greek speaking Christian’s of the past, and the ancient Israelites and Canaanites of the past before that. Ironically, most modern day Israel’s have a tiny amount of Canaanite genetic heritage compared to the Palestinians whose genetic make up is majority Canaanite.

@@amariusswhat study are you referring to exactly? Palestinian Muslims immigrated from all over the Arab world under ottoman and British rule. Easy to check census population records. No one cares about dna. It’s about indigenous culture. Apache culture comes from what’s today Arizona. The Maasai are from what is today kenya. Mayans from Mexico. Zoroastrian culture from Persia. Arabic and Islamic culture from Arabia. And Jewish culture from Judaea. It’s not that complicated. The archeology is all in Hebrew. Anyone wanting to be part of the Jewish nation has a place in Israel. No matter what their DNA is. Just like any other nation on earth.
