I agree. My mom was a person who lied about her age when she was younger aswell, and looking older/having people back you up really does help to lie. It places innocent people in difficult situations, and brings attention away from real predators. The others are definitely trifling though.

@@chevsea There are other cases where theres no way they beleive the minor is 18. Like for example, i think when 69 was around 18, a 13 yo girl said she was 18, and they smashed. How tf could you be unable to tell the diff between a 13 yo and an 18? But someone beleiving a 16 yo is 18 is WAAAY different. I look slightly older than i am. I mean, im easily 6'0. So if i told someone i was 17 or 18, they would most likely beleive me. Im guessing your mom looked older as well. If i was over 18, and a girl told me she was 18, i would ask for ID first.

So true, America should have harsher penalties for SA. I heard this horrific story about this guy who had assaulted and killed 2 little girls, only got 8 years. Then, when he got out, he murdered an entire family and kidnapped two kids (and ended up killing one of them). The whole thing would have been preventable if people who hurt children were actually locked up. And having a “safe haven” for them is just disgusting. They should live in shame for the rest of their lives to be honest. This village just gives them a community of child molesters to talk to and excuse their horrible behavior.
