Wonderful, no idea why they didn'y play I'm Not Down more as it works pretty well live.

I think they did play it on one another date from 79 and that's it

Yes that s a very important bootleg it needed a restoration ! I remember heard it the first time man years ago on a cassette and hardly able to hear somehing really

thx mate yes, it's complicated to restore these old tapes, they suffer from so many different problems that we could spend a lot more time on them than I do, but once again, thank to all these tapers, because we're lucky to have all these archives today.

It’s been interesting as a ‘historian’ to dig deep into all the Clash stuff and follow the journey… to make sense of the progression and development. It’s a wild ride. I saw them live back in the day but as you say say, for all these bootleggers to have the courage to smuggle in the gear for us 40 + years later to analyse and appreciate really is special. Thank you!
