anyone know where the clackiness comes from? is it because the stem poles are longer and are hitting the bottom of the case? I'm confused as to why JWK linears sound so crispy

@@ethanapalis2932 Jwks housings aren't dense, so sound doesn't get absorbed by the housing and the bottom out sound comes off as a lot more high pitched or clacky

You always nail the case keycaps combo, the color palette, the gradient looks so good man! Nice 65%! It feels good that more and more hotswap are coming in the market, I will build a GMMK Pro (75% hotswap and rotary was too tempting) in the near future with some zealios 67g and a GMK Hyperfuse set! I started watching your videos 2 years ago and I knew nothing about mech back then, thanks for sharing you passion with us!

As mentioned in the vid, I went a little heavier with the lube for the mods because it was a touch too sharp for my liking with my 'normal' lubing.

So glad you used these switches, I've been trying to choose between these and ink blacks for ages. Think I'm gonna go inks lubed with 205g0 and use deskeys films. What monitor arm do you use?

As long as you’ve got the instructions down pat, this keyboard looks really easy to put together! I feel like it really fits that in-between of the enthusiast and the casual keyboard builder, especially with the clean hotswap pcb. Just wish it had more thock to it, although going with the polycarbonate plate would probably meet my expectations!

ai03 boards are all enthusiast tier, he doesn't make low end stuff... although i feel the biggest flaw on the vega is the lack of DB thock is very easy to achieve on plastic boards, which are often on the low cost tier of the hobby... so what is it man? you want cheap sound on a premium board? i'm not getting it

As someone who just recently built their first gaming PC, learning that there is a keyboard sub-culture in the tech world baffles me... I didn't think about making a custom keyboard, I went with a cheap gaming keyboard (HyperX Alloy Core RGB) AND ITS A MEMBRANE, NOT EVEN MECHANICAL. Anyways, I recently found your channel, and I loved the sound of this keyboard, hoping I find myself one day owning a custom keyboard!! Great video!!!
