They skipped a generation with this. I was of the "hippie" generation who thought the "beatniks" were old-fashioned. When I heard this I thought "Get with it, you're supposed to be knocking my generation, not the one before. But I liked the mocking of trend-followers and Dylan's Mr.Jones.
