I don’t get one thing no one’s mentions, the screen frame somehow is asymmetrical and / slightly bent at top where the face recognition is placed, looks cheap and perhaps poses a risk to screen getting loose in future 😢

HP16 has a serious design flaw on the motherbord, the sensor that turns off the keyboard, trackpad and screen is placed too close to the heatpipes and will fry itself. Only way to fix this is to physically remove the ribboncable. HP refuses to acknowledge the issue, yet it's posted by a new user experiencing the issue daily on reddit. Wouldn't touch another HP with a ten foot pole at this point.

I had ASUS Zephyrus M16 and the ribbon cables modules are so fragile just touching the motherboard broke the cable. Besides that, the keyboard gave up and stopped working one year in. The ends also get scuffs just from general usage, brushing your hands against it would ruin the surface. I would avoid ASUS, HP, and stick with MSI, Razer perhaps or Lenovo.

This laptop is crazy to me, thin and light 14inch laptop, that can easily handle the type of videos I edit and pc games I play. This is dope.

This video is essentially an advertisement, so this laptop is not compared to ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 which is smaller, lighter, more rigid, and has much better performance, speakers, mic, battery life, and sold at a similar price!

This has a nicer design, this has a better battery life, this is almost as light as the g14 and similar performance for similar price. She has the 4060 one but HP also sells a 4070 one, this also comes in a bundle. Asus G14 is definitely more rigid and premium though. You should check other reviews of those who uses the 4070 32gb ram variant.

Not sure why so many hate the keyboard on this. I have this same exact 4060 model and love it. The laptop is light, looks beautiful and does have decent battery life. My biggest complaint is that the ram is soldered on but besides that this is a fantastic laptop.

I currently Have a Asus ROG Flow X13 However I realised how laggy Windows 11 really is, So I'm switching back to samsung DEX at the end of the year. Games on steam are not really fun either & Playing On XBOX game pass on my samsung smart monitor feels alot more fun. Soon enough I will sell my Asus Gaming laptop & Buy A Samsung Zflip6 with my additional money instead as a sucessor to my Galaxy S23 FE & The Galaxy S series is the most boring samsung phones you can buy my Galaxy A53 Felt much better & samsungish-premium, not Apple looking Galaxy S23 FE. Switching back to windows 11 is so stupid & Samsung DEX and samsung tablets in general suite me much more as a girl in college.

I'm currently using S22 Ultra. It has an s-pen with only 2,8ms input lag, 100X zoom, 1750 nits peak brightness, 108mp wide camera. It's all amazing and fun to use. If you said S series is boring , i think you should think again

Honestly, I do have a laptop Hp preference over all laptops for some reason or another. I have never owned a gaming laptop before, but my next laptop that I purchase is going to be a gaming one, just don’t know which one to get quite yet. I’m probably going to wait till there is an AI gaming laptop. Other than that 32GB of RAM is quite good in a gaming Laptop, just have to figure how to not to block those fans when the laptop is on one’s lap, cos with one’s clothing the fans could easily be blocked and that is what laptops are made for, to be used on the go and to be on one’s lap when sitting and waiting. Windows OEMs and Intel are throwing money at YT creators to market their devices. It is tough to find an actual review of Windows machines. I suppose that Intel, blindsided by Apple's fantastic Apple Silicon, has decided to distort the market by swamping YT with creator ads.
