Played as shroud once, won as shroud once. Only won because there were 2 shroud and N1 I hit the other shroud who was obv immune so I whispered him and he confirmed so we just steam rolled the town in a coordinated attack at that point.

I'm pretty sure the guys named "Kill Two" and "two is sick" named themselves after 2 did, in response to his name. Honestly, if we were to play completely objectively, it is a bad play to vote people off based only on their name. What you should do is report them, if their name is inappropriate (there is a specific report section for inappropriate Nicknames), instead of effectively throwing the game. Alas, we are only human, so it is expected for such nicknames to immediately get voted by everyone, Evil or not. Even if they are part of your faction, it's best to go with the flow at that point, since it will look sus to others if you're one of the few Innos. As for the player, they shouldn't be surprised they get voted off for their nickname, at that point they should expect this, they are playing with humans after all. Indeed, this could be used as Jester play, but it is a reportable offense nonetheless and should not be an option to any self-respecting player (since if we foster that type of strategy, the best way to win as Jester would be to say the moset obscene and horrible stuff in hopes u get voted off, instead of reported and Banned).

Shroud feels very hard to win right now because it just feels like a Tos 1 sk, but discovered how to float a little bit more. Alright, everyone collectively voting #2 was beautiful. I would never let “child breeder” see a win on my screen. As always, great video.

@@doomyboi not really, because it’s only use is to force a BG to kill themselves or to have a seer double kill. If neither of those roles exist, your shroud ability is just a “lose control of who you plan to kill each night” ability. You don’t even get powerful attack from shrouding or anything

It affects more innocent people than the guy that got banned. IP addresses are owned by the ISP and they assign them to their clients so any client could get the banned IP.

How would you buff Shroud? Maybe make it's Shroud a Powerful attack, to match the SK rework? But that wouldn't really fix its main issue... Maybe make it so if you Shroud someone who doesn't vist, then you just attack them like normal?

Honestly this is a small one but could be a small 2 in 1 buff. Make coroner check 2 people at once coroner needs *something* to stand out. Also shroud having another double kill would be nice.

Shrouded players that kill their faction members suffer “guilt”. They are basically blackmailed for a day and can’t vote? It would help in a few different ways but mainly: 1) shroud is solo, so it can help add some extra pressure akin to how SK, WW, and Arso have extra pressure. 2) it could potentially help you find non-towns since if the person you shrouded speaks after killing a town, you know they are a different faction.

Pipe, what I find funny and interesting is, in game 2, 1 said "Lynch the Jester Claim" on Day 2 when you were upped, even though you never said anything or even claimed on Day 1. So how did they know or make them think you were Jester?

I am still a bit new to this.. I have mostly just played classic mode but I plan on trying all/any soon.. You almost need to re-learn the whole game if you are used to ToS1 but I love it. I do not think I would have picked up ToS2 if I did not see how improved it is over ToS1. So thank you for that Pipe! Side note. I have been mostly using the name "Gary Miller" .. In ToS1 I used the name "Jikininki" as a gimmick as thats the name of a yokai that eats corpses and humans. Did not want to use the same gimmick so for now I am using a character from "Faith: Unholy Trinity" .. So if you see Gary Miller its probably me lol... I still have yet to figure out how to do a few of the icon based stuff.. Like role and numbers in the chat.. At least as of this comment anyway.

This might just be me but I feel like shroud is the weakest NK in the game rn. There’s almost never a real reason to shroud unless you want to force a BG into suicide or you want to double kill with seer. What if the shroud ability dealt a powerful attack to the target instead of basic?

Well, as a person usually they are relatively nice (with some exceptions I suppoose), but their 3rd person gimmick is bad, not only confusing in this type of game, but also lame as hell since half the time they drop it (usually when they panic or they hurry).
