I'm in a similar situation. I bought an Evo VIII in high school on launch date circa 2003 (yea I'm old) and it was one of the most amazing cars I have ever owned. Was forced to sell as I was heading overseas. Fast forward to now, I have an Ap1 S2000 full track built which I purchased about a little over a year ago and seriously considering selling or trading the s2k for a built Evo like this one. I just miss the turbo spool, although I do also own a 500hp R33 GTR. But the Evo just felt more nimble, pure AWD, and more practical than both the s2k and the Skyline. Plus, I didn't enjoy the convertible and Vtec as much as I thought I would have. So sadly my stint with Honda will unfortunately be short lived.
