In fairness to Ballmer, he did exactly what you wanted if you’re a Clippers fan. Same goes for the hype behind that first public unveiling of the Big-3 in Miami 10 years ago. I wasn’t offended by either of those events. That kind of action was strictly for their respective fan bases to get them excited for the upcoming season. I’m amazed that there are people who are still offended by what Miami did, and actually took LeBron’s “not 1, not, 2, not 3...” seriously and verbatim at face value.

@@Fakename70 I get what you're saying, getting a top 5 player, and reigning finals MVP was a big deal for the Clippers. But it's still championship or bust for them. There's a lot riding on next season. The LeBron not 1, not 2 thing was either 1) Him overexaggerating or 2) Him being a young guy, just hype to be on an elite team for once. To him the possibilities were endless.
