This is literally the most underrated channel I have ever seen. You make such mind-blowing videos and yet you get no recognition. Don't worry you will get *very* popular soon.

By definition the Earth itself is IN space. Thus every atom in the earth is in space and next to space at all times. Rather it could be asked, "What part of earth has the least atmosphere above it". Even then, that question is still loaded with all sorts of observational 'gotcha's'. Another way to consider the topic is to ask, "At any instantaneous moment in time, what point on earth has a direct line of sight to the most stars in the universe?(assuming a large number of stars forming an equidistant grid from one another from earths perspective). The answer would be Chimborazo. What is the only point on equator that has snow on it year round? What is the highest volcano on the equator? What is the highest point on the equator? What point on Earth travels at the highest velocity? What point on earth is farthest from the earths rotational axis? They are all the same place; Vulcan Cayambe

Just ask what's the furtherest point from the center of the planet. Easy.

6km closer than the usual 380,000. It won't look any different 😂

Space isn't defined by the distance from the center of the Earth. Chimborazo seems like the point on Earth where you can get closest to the Moon, but not necessarily other bodies. Usually space is defined as 100km above sea level, not a distance from the center of the Earth, so Everest is indeed the closest point to space.

So when a plane is flying north to South they must keep increasing thier flying height so they don't hit the bulge ? 14 mile high bulge ? Makes it a dangerous flying south?
